When I was trying to get over my compulsive spending - I gave myself £1 per lunch hour and made it a challenge to spend it - I soon found that it was just buying things that I liked and it didn't matter what it was!! Also gave me something to do and kept me out of more spending trouble 
What a great tactic to help with compulsive spending. I shall employ the £1 policy every lunchtime. Thanks for the share.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task
