It is good. An application is on it's way to me.
However this does not presage another rate hike, it simply reflects the tightness of the inter-bank money market rates.0 -
Not sure whether to go for this or the Nationwide 6.7% e bond. My money is currently in my Nationwide Flexaccount so probably more convenient to open the Nationwide Bond.0

super rate! but STILL no mention anywhere from any BS on two/three year bonds. PLEASE: does anyone know of a BS that is paying 5.10 NET on a monthly-interest fixed rate bond for two/three years.:(BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

don't think so, it can probably be explained by this:

It's now been pipped by the West Brom at 6.58%!
Cheque is in the post.
So that's a bit with NW, some with Derby and now some with WB ... who shall I favour with my largess next? ;-)0 -
Sorry, RayWolfe, but how does 6.58% "pip" 6.85%?0

To be honest was looking for a bond to transfer money out of nationwide and was trying to open a birmingham midshires but they kept asking for more id. Then nationwide came up with 6.7%, one click and it was done and no waiting for cheques to clear going in or coming back so great:beer:0

I shan't be losing any sleep over my choice between the two of them :rotfl:Speculator wrote: »Not sure whether to go for this [6.85%] or the Nationwide 6.7% e bond.0 -
