If and its a big if ,I buy the tenant will be long gone
As long as the petrol bombers go with them...!
Leaving it empty for a few months with curtains wide open, and some very twee ornaments might give you a chance I suppose, but wouldn't be my first choice!
Why on earth is the current owner letting the tenant stay?!?0 -
Also Old Git, you don't seem short of a property or three.
Out of interest, what appeals about this one?!? Is it as simple as price?0 -

I didnt know the house history before I asked for a viewing .
I didnt know it was tenanted when I asked for a viewing .
I did know a house in that road had been petrol bombed ,at the time of arranging a viewing I didnt know it was that one.
The lady in the shop across the road was helpful with other information as was google.
I have one house to view on Wednesday and another on Thursday .
There was another I wanted to view ,however the agent would only do viewings from 9:15 am to 4:45 pm Monday to Friday .Thats when I am at work .
I viewed one last week but it already had an offer £10,000 over the asking price
.I only buy places I would be prepared to live in . I did live in one of my rentals for some time ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Yes, I would want to leave the house clean but I have never moved into anywhere that didn't want a good scrub. I viewed one house that was pretty grubby and the upstairs hall had a massive pile of frilly undercrackers.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0
