I am so glad the fluid is going and DH should be more comfortable.
Tru
You cannot put DH in a bin bagI am in much the same state and hoping once the big bedroom and living room are painted and carpeted that I can start unpacking things so I can find them.
DDs were back at the weekend to celebrate youngest's new job and before I knew it I had ordered a four seater sofa and a footstool for the living room. If my lot had been around Rome would have been built in a day
DDs have all gone home and I cooked a chicken for tonight after a healthy salad at lunch. There should be enough left to turn into a chicken and pasta dish for tomorrow night when middle dd pops round to sort out the sliding baskets and drawers to be put in the bottom of my new wardrobe. Seem to have reached the stage when everything looks worse despite the changes - should be fun when they tackle the bathroom and kitchen!!!

Hi Chums ,just a quickie to say that Davey is having steroids to get him to eat and build up his strength. He is due to restart chemo at some point if they can get his weight up a bit. I have everything crossed at the moment ,he is such a fighter bless him.
Today my friend said come on, we will make the effort and keep ourselves occupied .We went to Trentham Gardens which was really nice.Just arrived and it started to spot with rain so we ate our picnic lunch and then had a mooch around the shops, after half an hour or so the sun struggled out.
So we had a walk down the lake to the tea shop, and had a drink and cake then waited for the boat back up the lake.Very tranquil on the water and just what I needed to relax.
Managed to get a few small bits for the boys in the shops. June did a lovely curry for dinner tonight. Wi-Fi is a bit limited at the cottage so its a case of using it when possible.
Cafekate , the folk I have met so far in Stafforshire have been lovely and so friendly. We are hoping to go to Shrugborough Hall tomorrow for the day.
Thanks everyone for all your kind wishes and thoughts for my big brother so far away
Love to you all
