What is your mobility problems for having autism? So it seems your losing around £87.20 a month, Did you get any points for mobility? And if you appeal there is a chance you could be awarded nothing.
  • I have mobility issues I have hand rails in my bathroom on the stairs a extra banister had to be fitted there is a grab rail near one set of the flats stairs a grab rail outside all asked for by the occupational therapist she is also getting me a shower and bath seat. I can't go out alone anymore because I have issues with balance from time to time so more often than not I have to link my partner to stay balanced. My ms nurse and doctor said my ms is aggressive. I have reduced mobility on my right side and the right side of my face is numb quite a lot due to nerve damage caused by my ms. It tingles a lot which cause headaches.

You must be aware that the criteria for the mobility part of DLA is different for the mobility part of PIP.

It is quite common for people receiving low mobility DLA to score no points for mobility PIP.

Have a look at the descriptors for PIP mobility and see which ones you are questioning.

As already said, they will look at the whole award again so there is a possibility that your care component for PIP may well change.

I suggest you go to CAB or a welfare advisor and see if they agree that you have a case for challenging the award.

Edit. Just seen your previous answer. Did not realise that you had MS. Advice still stands though, go to CAB/welfare advisor for help with the appeal.
