Hi, does your partner receive carer's for you? If so, were you previously on DLA? I thought you had to be in receipt of either DLA/PIP before someone could get carer's for you.
Sorry, ignore this, I've just reread the first post and realised you were already getting DLA.0 -
Your payment isn't late yet..
And we can only guess or speculate as to why..0 -

Receipt of DLA/PIP, or reassessment will result in a notification being sent to the IS system. That automatically raised a flag about possible entitlement change. What isn't known by IS at that point is whether the change might increase or decrease entitlement. Because of that uncertainly, payment may be blocked by the system until somebody in the processing office checks the details of the change.0 -

I didn't realise it was a joint claim, But it's only Saturday and payments aren't normally made on Saturday or available, So I guess OP just needs to wait till Monday and calls PIP/DLA or Income Support.0 -
Hi OP.
Let me first say that I know as a routine you usually expect IS payments on a Saturday and have become accustom to this so when it isn't there it can cause you anxiety and distress.
As payment is due Monday, I would RE-CHECK your balance on Monday give until midday to ensure the payment clears.
If NOT then contact Income Support, as what TELLIT01 has already said maybe what has happened and that your payment has been blocked by a change in a "linked" benefit and all is required is a call from you to re-establish details so the payment can be made.
It Does happen as I have moved over to PIP and my Wifes IS was suspended until she called and an advisor confirmed with her my details and it was re-established claim and her payment went through same day.
So don't worry now and you have the information at hand to now call on Monday and know what to expect so you don't have to worry so much over it.0 -

With IS, any claim made where there is a partner is automatically a joint claim.0 -

Some banks do process Monday's transactions (incoming as well as outgoing) already on Saturday morning. Most banks do not and process Monday's stuff on Sunday/Monday night. I believe, all the 'early processors' will stop that practice in the near future and fall in line with the other banks.
There is a possibility, that Yorkshire Bank has just this weekend changed over to the new schedule.0 -

That's not the case unfortunately as my partners carers allowance went into the account on Saturday no problem. We are going to ring in the morning its been a nightmare dwelling on this all weekend.0 -
If the payment has been delayed, tell DWP that you want a Same Day Benefit Payment. The money will then be in your account within a few hours, although the official line is that it will be in by midnight. That's DWP playing safe as, once they release the payment, it is down to the receiving bank's system how long it takes to hit your account.0
