Morning, GC people
Not posted this month as I planned, and have consequently lost the plot a bit, going to be rather over this month, although better than previous attempts! Another week to go and I think I will end up at around £480, instead of the £400 I'd hope to come in at.
Sounds like many of you have done so much better than me - well done!
Going to post in the August thread, get myself organised for a change!

£1.70 on milk and a four pack of drinks for DS to take to cricket. Would rather he took water but he doesn't so this is a compromise. I get the sugar free ones and they are far better value than the 80p a can they charge at the bar.
Pay day is the 28th so I'm definitely going to be under which is all down to ys bargains and last months batch cooking. I'm actually going to try to keep under £100 rather than the original £140 as we are off on holiday soon and a bit of extra money will come in handy.
PP xOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

Spent £14.80 at aldi and £1.23 at sainsburys (£2.50 nectar points used - should have saved them for a short month). We really shouldnt need to get any more food this month and will have spent £193.47. Under budget for the first time ever.:j
'Peasant soups' with pearl barley and spring greens are the way forward for sure for me. I will be looking at other options in like this for future ref.0 -
So apologies to all...I have been absent without leave as lots of aspects in RL went a bit AWOL.
so from 7/7-24/7 spent £119.89 between Mr M, Mr A**a and Mr S. However, part of this spend was spent at the and for the in-laws, when DH was in hospital. I am going to count the spends in my budget, as they do buy bits and bobs for us too. So quid pro quo.
It hall had the effect of me over-spending by £13.83, which I know in the grand scheme of things is not a much but it is the principle.
Anyway hope all are well..SIL x0 -
Need to rethink my plans for August. We've just bought a house and I've gone into panic mode and bought a ridiculous amount of food and household products after over spending at Costco! Seriously annoyed with myself because I was doing so well at the start of this month, bah!0
