It costs about £30 a month - I can easily go through 4 cans a day. I'll have to start slowly though.
Anywho, reporting spends of £20 - I think it was £17(ish), but can't remember exactly, so rounding it up - teach me for not saving the other receipt. Still on course, but a little over.0 -
$17 for some veggies and cheese. Signature updated. I'm over half my budget, so need to tighten up the rest of the month.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Up to £138.98 now. Did a quick shop in Al** to top up on fresh fruit, veg and salad and then bought some drinks from to take to a family BBQ at the weekend. Could have got it cheaper but the drinks were a panic buy because we realised on the way that we'd forgotten to bring anything! Bah! It's ok, we're still within budget and doing far better than last month - baby steps and all that!0

Morning
Not been around to check in for the past 2 weeks. I have posts to catch up on.
This challenge has made me think more on what I am buying. I do a weekly shop at A*di then if there is something I can't get there I nip to Morris*ns as it is close by. I only take cash with me now for shopping so any money left over from A*di I will take to Morrisons. I was walking round Morrisons with my calculator app on my phone to make sure I wasn't going to go over, I come under £5 budget this week :T
My total is now showing £280.60 xDebt Free - Now time to look to the future! :T0 -
My budget is not looking great at the moment, only 1 NSD so far and I've done a bit of comfort food shopping
Anyhew on a positive side I have made my own houmous which we had for lunch yesterday and today with veg and pita bread followed by fruit. Today I made pesto which I am making some pesto pasta salad out of, enough pesto to last a few meals. Also have 4 meals worth of chicken left from my YS chicken so will have some tonight with the pasta and some green salad and some for some lunches in wraps. Oh I also made scones and have enough ingredients to make them again
I've spent £194.59 out of £300 but have a full fridge, freezer and cupboards but I am feeling a bit panicked that I will still end up needing more! I will have to buy more salad stuff, fruit, bread and milk over the next 4 weeks I really hope that is all we will need! Oh and I need to go out again and buy a cucumber as we just finished the last one.
We will be growing tomatoes (already growing) and cucumber (waiting on plug). Also very small amounts (due to space and mostly just fun for the kids) of carrots, onions and lettuce. Also have strawberries and blueberries if the slugs don't eat them all. Still that won't be until end of June at the earliest.Stay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013
