Then it was working between 2 old laptops,
one connected to internet to see my online banking and the other to see MS money , only just to see if all my DATA matched those online figures.

    and it did

I'm not saying "don't have a backup". Backups are very sensible. I have backups. And if your backup mechanism is to have a second computer with a copy of everything, that's fine too. All I'm saying is, if you keep the second computer disconnected from the Internet because you think an Internet outage will kill your computer, you're being paranoid.

    Hello All,
I haven't been here recently as my MS Money is ticking over with S&S updates via MS Money Quotes. (I keep a W7 computer for this but it will work on W10)
I now have a MacBook and wondered the best alternative and if I could use my MS Money on the MacBook or ipad?
A bit of a big ask I know but any comments welcome.
    Mike

I doubt MS Money runs on iOS or Mac OS. You could try AceMoney on your MacBook but I doubt it would run on iPad.

If it helps anyone. I used buxfer .com for a while but have settled on clearcheckbook .com

I like the ability to edit anywhere and add transactions via my phone.

But if you want something free, and are happy with windows PC, then MS Money is still a great choice.
