I have a Citibank UK current account and linked savings account but not used on a regular basis, think I had less than £5 in it. Anyway, the debit card expired last year and I've not received a new card and can't seem to log into online banking either.
Have Citibank pulled out of UK personal banking? Not much information about current accounts on their website.

If you don't use the online banking or card for a certain time period, they are marked as expired. The online banking is disabled, the card is not re-ordered, its the same with most banks.
You will need to call them.0 -
They are mostly for (US) expats and high net worth individuals now.
They took on the plebs but have now running that down (i.e. closing) those accounts. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Your account has probably been made 'Dormant'.
So all transactions are blocked and online access suspended
To re-activate it and get the £5 out you will need to go through their ID procedures all over again.0 -

I thought as much. Just I haven't heard from them in ages and then when I go on their website it all geared towards folk with money rather than personal retail banking.0 -

£25 and you can have one.0 -
And you have to meet a personal manager in London to open one!0 -
They are free (if you have the appropriate balance) and they might not want you, even if you are willing, to pay £25 per monthThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Oh yes I had that with Handelsbanken London.
Never had such snobbery in all my life, because I didnt work for a "good" place, and speak with a common accent, they are not interested.
First thing out of their snobby mouth was "There is a £25 fee, do you want to proceed", never even asked my salary.
Their loss. They can't have me now.:D (not that they would want me)0 -
i remember having their Platinum Visa credit card..
don't see the appeal now, although they are a huge bank so kind of strange that they aren't keen to have a larger slice of UK Retail banking.
and stranger still that HMRC use Citibank.. with 4 very substantial and reputable:whistle:UK-based banks that they could use.0
