Hi Cafekate, and hello again everyone.
I have done some scrubbage and made a new pocket for DSs jeans, his phone was a bit too big. I don't enjoy sewing and I have a friend who can't sew at all, or do any kind of craft, and she somehow inveigles me to make things. Between her and son, I seem to be kept busy.
Going to make a curry in a minute. Plus spiced rice.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Evening everyone,
Very late visit from me today as I have been spending the day with the family as it is OH's birthday tomorrow. We had a lovely lunch out and a brief walk before the rain.Whoever recommended using the painkilling gel on my knee is a miracle worker, i feel like a new woman!
JackieO Enjoy your holiday.
Floss Thanks for the information about Cardiff.
Judi, Hilstep Hugs.
Enjoy your evenings folks, it is Googlebox for me!:)0 -
Judi I hope poor Millie isn't too bruised after her tumble.
Not even a limp. I'd trimmed the hair round her feet and in between her pads the day before too for a better grip.:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Good evening all, the wi-fi is a bit erratic but I have managed to get on just now
Horrendous journey up as the M1was chockablock with heavy traffice all the way.Plus its been chucking it down with rain for most of the 220 odd miles .but the cottage is superb, lovely and warm and spotlessly clean.
June had brought a pasta bake with her that just needed heating up with some garlic bread so we were soon fed and spirits revived. We have been sorting the world out with our knitting, crocheting and nattering all evening.
Hopefully we will go into town tomorrow to explore and have a shufti around the CS and market. Fingers crossed the rain will ease up.We don't mind the weather though, as there seems to be a lot to see.
Mobile phone reception is also a bit hit and miss depending where you are and we are outside the town on the edge of the Peak district national park. very beautiful countryside ,what we could see of it through the rain:):):)
Hope everyone is all Ok
Good Night, God Bless all here
