Popla appeal unsuccessful...Civil Enforcement

Thanks again for your help...much appreciated.
I almost wish I had advised my daughter (step daughter actually) to pay the ticket when it was issued even though it goes against everything I believe in. i can understand why people do just pay up as there are so many hoops to jump through which my step daughter would have found difficult, if not impossible, to negotiate on her own (even with your help). And of course this is what the rogue enforcement companies rely on and why it is so easy for them to rip people off. Are we any nearer to the law being changed to stop these proceedings going so far in these circumstances?
We congratulate you for going this far.
CEL, as you will have read are very vindictive but rest assured the courts know about their antics and their habit of discontinuing at the last moment.
Just keep your eye on the ball with CEL .... pleae read this

That shows you what a disgusting bunch of scammers they are
From what I read about the government intervention to provide a new CoP and a new appeals service, it will not be long before this is law.
This will put CEL and all the other scammers on notice that should they continue with their mal practice, they will lose DVLA access and to all intent and purposes put them out of business.
Also rest assured that this forum will be very strict against those who think they will be above the law, CEL is one of those
When the new law comes in, there is a bucket list
Currently but not exclusive

Good afternoon...is it ok to serve the witness statement on the court via email or is it better to post?
TIA0 -
Far better to take it in person to the local court (as it should be a heavy file!).
A signed WS, with ALL your evidence, contents page and a draft costs schedule all in a ring binder with the hearing date, your name and the claim number written on the front.
Do not do what TPSTwats says he did, no emailing it to the CCBC in Northampton!
However you will need to email a full copy of everything to the Claimant.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Or send it by special delivery next morning. You can claim the cost when you win.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

On 28th of October last year I parked in the Port of Wells Car park. I put in my Reg and paid for the ticket which I still have. On the 5 Nov I received a PCN from Civil Enforcement Ltd stating I had not put in the correct Registration which I am sure I did. The ticket has only the last SDY digits of my number plate. At the time I thought (as some car parks do) that only the last three digits were printed. I appeal and Poplar have come back with unsuccessful. This is extremely upsetting and I am being chased for a further bill of £140 and threatening letters of courts and bailiffs attending our property and taking our vehicle.
I am at the same stage as you now. I have emailed Harbour Commissioners at Wells who own the Quay car park and all they say is that they do not deal with individual cases so will not help.
It will be interesting to see how we both get on.0 -
@primroseangel You already have posts about this, why have you posted another another and on someone else's thread?0

Good Evening... I have just put the file together and it is ready to deliver to the court but I have just realised I have not included the actual claim form itself as an exhibit...should I have? Think I'm getting a bit nervous!!
TIA0 -
No, no need. The claim form shouldn't be evidence or anything and the contents would not be under dispute.0

Great, thank you.0

Sorry just thought our circumstances were the same that's all. No harm done I hope?0
