New car came without DAB radio but should've had it

Thanks for the quick replies. It's a Renault Clio. We went for the dynamic s model because it has these particular features as standard, so yes it is listed in all brochures as including DAB.
I envisage handing the car back with a letter of rejection as I don't think they can change or upgrade anything and yes, I definitely don't want some aftermarket mash up! It's an integrated touch screen with all the features so can't see how any upgrade will work.
16 plate? That should definitely have dab, I too recently bought a nearly new 65 clio based on your wants. I didnt think it had dab because nobody had tuned it! You dont get dab option from the drop down on the top left?0 -

So the VIN in that website says it is model year 2005, Clio IV. Helpful.
No, I don't get the option of DAB in the drop down menu at top left on radio mode.
Whichever brochure, new or old, or any website, etc that you look at it is supposed to have DAB.0 -
Same site says our car is a 2002, its a 2012, so the OP car is probably a 2015 production vehicle.
It will have been in a field somewhere for a few months waiting for a buyer.0 -
Time is running out - I'd reject it if I were you. Perhaps phone the dealer and let them know what you're going to do, maybe that will get them to pull their finger out.0

DAB is usually like a low quality MP3, and FM can be better than that, but DAB music stations are in stereo in my experience. Mono is fine for speech stuff.I'd agree that FM is superior to DAB most of the time. At least FM is in stereo.0 -

Ha, CD quality it is not!0

DAB Radio quality was exceptional in the Range Rovers I was driving last year.
Perhaps it depends on the quality of the rest of the system?
The ones I drove were an Autobiogrpahy Sport with the top end system and a mode range full fat Range that was brand new and part of the vehicles on standby for the RWC 2015.
I drove a few XJL's with DAB, mine never had it, provided by the Chauffeur Plan and they all knocked spots off mine which only had the 250w low end system.
Maybe the quality of DAB radio transmissions is better in London and the South East?0
