The way i understand it is - if you go in a shop and see something priced up at one price they cant change the price at the till - at that point they have two options, remove from sale or offer it you at the price advertised.
That's not correct.
They have a few options.
1) Correct the price on the shelf
2) Remove the item from sale (Although just as easy to remove the displayed price)
They 'could' offer to sell to you at the lower displayed price, however there is no legal obligation for them to do so.
However, comparing instore vs online price discrepancies is irrelevant as they are both different.0 -
