Help please! Can I claim delayed flight compensation when I don't know flight date?

Hi, am really hoping someone out there can help me. I want to find out the date of a very delayed flight back in 2011. My flight booking reference was Q2CMCG and it was a BMI flight from Birmingham to Nice. I tried contacting British Airways who took BMI over, however they said that without a flight date they couldn't do anything. I know I would be due the maximum compensation because my family was stranded for over 7 hours at the airport as they had staff shortages! If anyone could help me find the flight date that would be amazing. Thank you!

nobody is going to have access to your booking details
if you are inclined to follow this up, you could register on flightstats and check historical data and search day by day (may take quite a few days/weeks/months) what happens when you find 50 flights with the roughly the same length of delay?

How do you have the booking ref after all this time but not a date of travel ?

Old diary? Credit card bills with foreign spending? Photos with date on? Emails? If you haven't done this then there isn't much hope for you making a claim!
