Credit file and iva confusion
Options
Hello
I've had an iva for 4 years now always paid on time and everything is up to date. I thought I'd check my credit report as I'm getting closer to my finishing date.
When I've checked it my mortgage which was included In the amounts of debts for my iva (house was repossessed before iva began) is showing as a closed and settled account. My mortgage makes up nearly half of the value of my iva and was the main reason I got it as I didn't have £50000 to had over to them. My question is does anyone have any idea why it would be showing on my credit file as a zero balance and settled account? Everything else included in the iva is showing as open and defaulted. The mortgage was a joint mortgage but we separated and this is how I have ended up in the situation. sorry for the long post.

No idea really, but I wouldnt worry about it too much. Just make sure the dates of the last defaults are not sooner than the start of the IVA as that will be the only thing that matters when sorting out your credit file when you do finish.
Well done for getting this far!0
