Dehumidifier for garage and/or cellar
Comments

Does the room 'smell' damp in any way at any time?
I had a converted cellar with a dehum in my old Victorian house
was drier than the rest of the house!!!!0 -
The cellar can suffer on occasion with a little damp causing paperwork, etc, to absorb some moisture. I want to avoid this with my vinyl and I am prepared to pay for the knowledge that they WILL be fine!0

We have two Meaco's in our barn offices. They are superb and both came from John Lewis.0

With the doubts on whether a dehumidifier would be effective in the room, could you go down the route of a relatively airtight cupboard and shelves for your vinyl and a small (closet?) dehumidifier ?
Having said that, certainly removed the obvious signs of moisture from the garage with this beastie from Screwfix : http://www.screwfix.com/p/12ltr-dehumidifier/725030 -
Any hide all my beautiful vinyl away?!?! Sacrilege!0

Speaking from my experience, a humidifier in in an untanked cellar is a waste of time and money. As fast as you dry it out, more moisture is drawn in through the walls and floor.0

The gym is tanked.0
