Well as a lot of leaves come down in October and November every year, the gutters could be blocked. Same is true of the downpipes.

If you were to go and watch when it's raining hard, you might see rainwater overflowing onto the walls.

I will definitely check though there are no trees on my street only in the odd garden. Loads of birds around though

I will check when it rains to see if water running over side of guttering


a friend suggested a machine that measures dampness in walls or something
