That's good news that his analysis came back fine Skimper. At least with a retest you can be confident that it's always ok too!
I need to refocus on being healthy too. These last few months I've really lost all control and put on alot of weight, whch isn't good for TTC!
I've got my fertility scan in a couple of weeks and then our consultation just over a week later so hopefully by the end of the month we should have a better idea where we stand and what options we have.0 -
AF due tomorrow, but I've been up all night with a stomach bug, I've only just managed to get out of bed, good job tomorrow is a bank holiday.
Could do with AF not turning up, feel crap enough as it is.0 -
Oh no Skimper! I hate having a stomach bug, I hope you are feeling better today!
My AF is due tomorrow (Tues) according to FF, although this would be shorter cycle than normal but according to my BBT's I ovulated a few days earlier than normal. I am hoping FF is accurate as if it comes later in the week it may stop me from having my scan next week!
How is everyone else getting on?0 -
I'm still feeling pretty crappy, nausea and tiredness.
Spotting started yesterday right on time, so will just have to wait and see if it turns in to AF, which it probably will.0 -
AF arrived as predicted. I'm glad it will be out of the way ready for my scan on Monday!
I hope you feel better soon skimper! Nausea and tiredness could be an early sign, maybe take a HPT if AF isn't here soon!0 -
AF arrived as predicted too, Should be on the last day of it. Then back to the baby making.0

I had my scan at the fertility clinic yesterday. The doctor said all looks good with my womb, ovaries and follicles. We have our consultation next week so should find out our options and the prices (eek!) next week!0

Hello everyone 👋🏻 I only joined Forums today after getting mse email today. I wish I’d known about this community earlier. I’ve been trying for 2.5 years- it’s been really tough. No one talks IRL about the pressure of having sex ALL THE TIME even when neither of you really ‘want’ to. I had a miscarriage last year in Oct which really sent me in a spin mentally. As I say- a really tough couple of years.
I’ve been using a fertility monitoring bracelet (I won’t say the name in case I get accused of selling it) and I only had it for a month and I am now 7w pregnant. (I have everything crossed as it was at this point I lost my last pregnancy).
The bracelet is really expensive (for my budget at least) but it has a good resale value on eBay...but first I’m lending it to my friend who is also struggling. If we can get 2 babies it will be worth it!
I wouldn’t normally post something like this, but I had to share as it has been a total game changer for me and I hope it helps someone else.

Hi,
skimper has just advised me to jin this thread.
I am going to the GP with someone who cannot speak English very well.
She has been trying for 3 or so years now. She has very irregular periods. I think no sign for months now. I don't think she has POCS.
Would the GP give her ovulation enhancing drugs without further tests? Or would she have to see a fertility specialist first?
She had an appointment for the fertility clinic but when she went the doctor did not turn up and has not recontacted her. She is afraid to phone the hospital. I will get the number of course and ring them.
She went back to the GP who was very dismissive and told her she should not be thinking about children at her age. She is too young. She is 24.
I was just hoping that the GP might be able to give her some ovulation enhancing drugs while she waits?0
