Hey spooney I think it is super hard not to read into everything..but we just gotta hope right? :) I think if I stop being hopeful then I'll go to a bad place and I just dont want to go there! I'm hoping my OV was more day 17/18 as then m in with a chance.. annoying my test broke. On the bright side rang clearblue and their sending me a new tester and pack of 20 tests after I complained it broke (and I still have 16 from my packet so thats not to bad a deal!)

  • Called the doctors for my day 21 bloods results. Got told everything is normal.
Which is good in one way but it doesn't help me.
Guess OH could get tested and see where we go from there.

Munchkin I imagine like you said its a bit of a mixed response, at least your starting to eliminate some factors xx

  • I'm feeling rather confused as I got what I think was a positive opk on Saturday (CD16), but temps have stayed at my normal 36.5 ever since, although it is my first month tracking them so who knows. Have only managed to BD twice this cycle (CD11 and 15) and don't know if we'll have a chance tonight as the husband has gone to a fitness class and will probably tire himself out! Have been fantasising about this month being our month, as worked out that if successful we'd be breaking the news to everyone just before Christmas, but what will be will be.

    Hope everyone is well.

Congrats on your BFP teenie :)

Aw Thrift im the same re:thinking about how i'll tell people..last month when I had near convinced myself it was my month I had a whole thin about how I would tell my parents. Sometimes I wish I could stop myself thinking about these things.

  • Congratulations Teeniepops I am so pleased for you!

Sorry I've disappeared for the week, been a busy one. Please can I be moved to the "if in doubt" section please. I've been trying not to do daily tests of everything (I'm taking MIL's advice of "just relax and it'll happen") but I used an ovulation strip on CD6 which was positive. BD limited due to illnesses but maybe that's nature's way of telling me to relax too!

Yaaay wonderful news Teeniepops, congrats! :)
  • Hello there! Congratulations to recent BFPs!

Im a veteran of this TTC thread - we started TTC back in March 2015. We managed to conceive straight away, but unfortunately we discovered at the 12 week scan that our baby had anencephaly - and so wouldn't survive long after birth. We had a termination a week later.

We started trying again a couple of months later, this time my wife had a higher dose of folic acid daily. I joined this thread in August 2016 and we got our BFP in January 2017. We had a few scares early on with bleeding and extra scans - but last September our boy was born and he's amazing.

He's going to be a year old next week. We've decided that we want to start trying again for our second this coming cycle. Awaiting AF which according to Glow should be tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone else currently trying!
