Angry is an understatement. I was supposed to view the house Monday and spent all day trying to get in contact with no reply until late that evening. We then agreed today and once again been trying to get in contact all day and once again no reply. So annoyed and upset xDMP Started June 20160

Evening all

Thanks for the thread CCL -hope those Year 10s behaved themselves!
Sorry to hear about the car Foxgloves. A real pain given you had decided to get rid of it in the fairly near future (but not yet)
. Small consolation, but ours had 2 new tyres fitted this morning, and DH's 'white elephant' (or rather silver elephant) has its MOT on Friday
MTC, sorry to hear about being messed about re the house - keep looking, and as often happens, I absolutely agree with Foxgloves' views stated above! Seriously though, it probably feels as though everything is stacked against you (been there, and know this feeling) but it isn't really - whoever is dealing with this rental is simply either incompetent or not bothered whether they rent it out or not, neither of which sound like ideal landlord material to me. Something better will come up, honestly. Take care xx
So, what have I done today:
Not much, as I have has little GD all day.
OH did both dog walks (and I did 2 baby walks, so it all works out equal in the end :rotfl:)
Entertained 2 year old for free - we have been to the park, fed the ducks, played with sand and water (outside, thank goodness!), read stories, drawn on the path with chalks, blown bubbles, played with the puppy and played in the sink. Grandma is very tired now, and so is the puppy :rotfl:
£120 spent on tyres first thing
Nothing else spent :T
Meals were from stores
Used more HG micro leaves in today's salad
Washing dried on line
Watered baby tomato plants and turned them round to stop them growing too far one way (on dining table next to a window)
Tried Foxgloves suggestion of olbas oil on old teabags to prevent cats from making a mess in my tiny front garden - ok so far
Checked FPL and looked for surveys but there were none today
Lots to do tomorrow I think!0 -
Evening all
I am one tired bunny tonight. Every night I'm saying I'll have an early night, and every night I'm still awake at 11....
MTC - sorry that you're having so much trouble. Bullies thrive on intimidation - I know it's hard but I'm fairly sure that they'd be shocked if you spoke back to them. Or completely ignored them... I hate bullies, and the vast majority of them are just full of hot air.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Thank you all.
The school run was ok, I held my head up, smiled, actually said hello to a couple of parents and felt a little happier.DMP Started June 20160 -

Hi April Awesome-ees,
Work today and going to continue my Great Big Canal Adventure tomorrow. Gonna take it easy and just lollop along for 9 miles from Falkirk to Linlithgow. I'll have to pay the train fare but other than that it's free entertainment.

CCL thank you for getting us started this morning and well done on not getting stressed today.
Make the change pleased to hear you are fighting back by holding your head up high and smiling.
Today was very tiring for myself and the children so I will keep it brief. We went to one of our regular HE sessions which is low cost, all our meals came from stores including our contribution to lunch. Did many of my regular dfw bits and pieces but nothing exciting.
