Moorhen, Cardiff is a lovely city, DH worked there for 9 months and found it friendly. I loved visiting, the city centre is very open and the council are trying to improve the less-nice areas, it's benefited too from the Welsh parliament being based there and she should get the same free health stuff the Welsh do ;)

Cafe Kate I am looking forward to visiting Leek and seeing lots of CS etc I believe there is a market on a Saturday and We also want to go to Chester for a day, and Shugborough next Monday .Hopefully the sun may come out but this is England and if you get the sun its a bonus. My friend and I do an awful lot of 'pottering' and 'browsing' when we are on our spring break She has two year old twin grandchildren and I look after 3 of my DGS full time so our weeks break is our 'grown-ups time ' we knit, natter visit country houses and historical places and go for gentle walks we are both in our 70s after all :):):) I have know June for 47 years and we have never fallen out in all that time We get on very well really and her Oh goes away the day after us as he is on the 'Solar Pulse ' aeroplane thats going around the world under solar power. He is in the airline business and travels quite a bit .So our spring break is a break just for two little old gals to 'stop and smell the roses' :):):)
