I applied for the token after reading on another thread that it was required to move larger sums. It arrived next day! Hardly snail pace! They do seem slow to pay DD's though after I switched to them with DD's in place,0 -
I find they are very helpful on Twitter too.
Granted you wouldn't be able to discuss personal, sensitive information using Social Media but could be worth reaching out to them.
Now they're no longer part of the National Bank of Australia group I'd imagine they'll start to up their game.
It will prob go the other way NAB certainly are not the best in AU for care, but they put the UK banks to shame.
Clydesdale Group main shareholders are still NAB shareholders at this time.
Had a CEO flew into Scotland or sent a senior table regular here Y & C instead of treating its £ division as a cash cow would be exceptional banks. It didn't. It off floated its liabilities and shareholders got a massive cut.
I found branch staff nice but processes very long winded compared to NAB and UK banks, almost like CB was running in the 60's.
NAB staff are very friendly in comparison to CB.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Since switching and the initial teething problems I've had no issues with them.
Mind you I only use the account to pay the household direct debits, so a lump sum goes in each month and stays there to pay the bills. I only switched to them as they offered £150.
Their online banking I think is a bit basic, clumsy and not easy to move around compared to other banks I have or still use. I do hope in time they will improve it.
No one is perfect, every company has problems, its how they handle them afterwards that make the difference. YB dealt with my problems efficiently and even though I was not expecting it, compensated me for the inconvenience.0
