Wondering if anyone here knows anything about how bad/good the current market is
I was previously looking at flats in Glasgow, they all sold pretty quickly or had lots of interest and went to a closing date
It could just be coincidence or time of year etc but this doesn't seem to be the casevwith flats in Livingston, decent looking flats that have been on the market for a while
Just wanted to see if anyone's got any thoughts on the matter...

anywhere outside of the glasgow/edinburgh areas seems to take a lot longer (just sold a flat in edinburgh in a week and the place we've bought on the otherside of glasgow was on the market for about 8 months)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Houses around the north of Glasgow are selling like hotcakes, same for rentals.
I can't comment on Livingston, but why would you choose to live there if you work in Glasgow (just an assumption as you said you were initially looking in Glasgow)?0 -
yeah not quite as simple as that glasgowdan!
I'd have thought Livingston property sold pretty quickly with it being so close to Edinburgh but as I say I dunno, just assuming0
