Another TSB Plus cashback question

My TSB contactless card doesn't work every few attempts, and I have to enter my PIN

Is this usual for other MSEr's, and does TSB still pay the 5% cashback for such transactions?

Also miffed that this usually happens with a larger transaction, than one for a quid or so!

Mine seems to be every 6 transactions so I do a cash withdrawal after 4 or 5. I have also noticed that transactions of around >£19 show up as pending. Cashback is not paid on failed contactless transactions.

I've recently started getting a balance or statement out of an atm after every few contactless payments, using the pin, and this does seem to stop contactless being turned down over the last couple of months.
