Another TSB Plus cashback question

Options
A new (tax) year resolution - to watch my spending and save more efficiently :j. So in February, I opened a TSB Plus account and transferred in £2k that I had sitting in a rubbish ISA for the better interest.

I also transfer in an additional £500 to tick the pay-in box (just in case) and for spending so I could get the 5% cashback on contactless payments.

March was the first month where I have had the full £2k sitting in the account and have had some contactless spending as well (about £80). I only received £6.65 of interest into my account on 1st April which I assume is the interest for the £2k, so just wondering where my cashback was.... I did pay in £500 for March too and checked that I have all my correspondence set to online only.

Am I doing it wrong? If so, please do let me know! :)

Thanks :) So any cashback I had late Feb (when I opened the account) to early March should be paid around the 18th March? Just had a look at my statement again, nothing during that time.

Guess I will just have to wait and see what happens the 18th this month!

To the end of February. It goes by Calendar month.

The cash back from Feb spends should have hit your account around the 18th of March.
Check to see if it had gone through by end of Feb or if it went off your account in March - in which case it would be paid around the 18th April

So you didn't make any contactless transactions in February then?

I tried once but had to pay by PIN as the terminal didn't work.

Believe me or not, that was my first time using contactless. I never had it with my regular current account so it still feels a bit like sorcery sometimes...

You need to 'enable' the contactless feature by first using the PIN. It's a security feature. It'll work from now...for a while, until it will suddenly demand another PIN transaction.

I get an email telling me when my contactless cashback has been paid into my account.
