How long will Cameron stay at No.10

Safe until a new leader elected in time for next election. This is terminal for Cameron, his ability to pontificate on any moral standpoint is now hopelessly compromised. Tax planning is fine, seeking out a camera to gob off about the moral dubiousness of Jimmy Carr makes him a hypocrite of the highest order.
Yawn........................
This endlessly repeating record shows how poor Labour are in opposition. Far more important issues to be discussed. There again Labour have no credible policies worthy of news coverage.0 -

Cameron and Osborne have been boxed in by events. They clearly are going to struggle in future with continuing welfare reform for example. Everything they now do will be looked at more cynically. They have lost the high ground and won't get it back. Labour don't need policies this early in the parliamentary cycle. I must admit I'm suprised how quickly the tories have crashed. May 2015 now seems a long time ago.....but it's not even a year.0 -

Given all the stick he's getting, Cameron might well think 'Sod this' and leave before the end of the year, irrespective of the referendum result. I've read that his wife doesn't want him to stay long, as she'd rather be sunning herself overseas much of the time, rather than stuck in the UK.
I do wonder what Ed Miliband feels about it all (and David) given the way their late father's memory was dragged through the mud a while back solely for political reasons, which is far worse than anything directed at Ian Cameron this week.
My feeling re Corbyn is that if the May local elections go badly, possibly even the London Mayoral election, then the pressure on him may be increased. In the unlikely event of us voting to leave the EU, he may also come under pressure for not doing much but rather let the Tories tear themselves apart.
Time will tell.
it would seem to be reasonable to criticise Ed's dad, as he was a committed communistic that wanted to overthrow the british state : the only mistake was that it was claimed he hated the british people where they should have said he hated british democratic institutions.0 -

Well, not quite. The test would be UK resident and UK domiciled. Though UK-resident non-doms would still be taxed on any monies remitted to the UK.
On the Andrew Marr show this morning, it was suggested that the right-wing Eurosceptic press have been laying in to Cameron more than the left wing press."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
Safe until a new leader elected in time for next election.I have to say that following Cameron 's retrospective tax on BTL mortgages and the moves to increase tax on estates by charging a £20k probate fee, after he promised to reduce tax on estates, I'm gurgling with joy to see him skewered over tax arrangements entered into years ago, and attempts at dodging the IHT the rest of us have to pay.
Karma is, as the saying goes, a !!!!!.0 -

It was entirely irreverent to Ed Mililand's leadership. People are not their parents."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Indeed - I did think about that, but thought I'd be over-complicating matters - hey ho!On the Andrew Marr show this morning, it was suggested that the right-wing Eurosceptic press have been laying in to Cameron more than the left wing press.
I can well understand that, as that's a great way to undermine the Remain camp. I do despise much of the British Press, it has to be said.
As to those thinking it was fine to attack Miliband's late father, I would ask them to think about the reasons for it. This had nothing to do with the father and everything to do with the son who they were worried might become PM. It was a truly despicable act to my mind.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -

A old PR man like Cameron knows this looks incredibly bad. He`s spent his entire political life denying his filthy rich heritage and this episode has ruined the 'man of the people' myth he`s tried to propagate in one fell swoop. Rich, privileged people like Cameron don`t know the difference between Aston Villa or West Ham but they`re great at keeping more of their own money away from the taxman than the rest of us.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
