I use Lightworks and really like it. It's complicated to use at first but you soon pick it up - lots of good tutorials available. It's very capable and versatile I find. It's also free which is good (with limited export options) £14.99 gets you a month of the pro version when ch I think is good value for important projects where you might want the additional export options.0

I use AppGeeker for editing. You can go the easy way with it or go all in depending on how much time you want to spend.0

There's always Windows Movie Maker which is part of Windows Live Essentials. It's free and downloadable
I used Windows movie maker on vista and it was just right for me.
I have tried twice and downloaded Windows Live Essentials and on both occasions my screen froze. This was on Windows 10.
Any suggestions for another editor which is as simple as Movie Maker to use?
Thanks,

If you copy the Windows Movie Maker 2.6 file folder from a Vista machine onto a memory stick, you can then use it straight from the stick. No need to install on PC.I used Windows movie maker on vista and it was just right for me.

Windows Movie Maker is very simple and will suit most people most of the time. Lightworks is more complex but is genuinely world class - Avid won the paid-for race, but they are both used every day in real movies and TV world. It's a professional tool, truly excellent.0

File manager, right click on computer, select properties to open system page and you should find all the info about your hardware and software. This for W7, might be different for other OS's0

Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro are the best non-linear video editing software.0
