I'm planning to switch into this account for £100 gift card but I can't find anything in their terms and conditions aboutif you put in £1000 each month, you'll get an extra £10 as stated on this site. Is this incentive still ongoing?

The £10/mth offer ended a few days ago.

Be aware they are slow, had to call yesterday - they received my signature form back, it was scanned in but was not actioned or sent off to the appropriate dept for complete account activation.

The important date for the incentive programme is the date of application for the current account. Applications prior to 6 April qualify for the initial credit of £100 on switch, thereafter for 12 monthly payments of £10 if the conditions are met (£1k+ to be paid in each calendar month plus 2 active DD's). Applications form 6 April still qualify for the £100 initial switch payment but not the further £10 per month.

That's a shame. Might hold off switching to see if a better incentive comes along.

Never posted before so hope in right forum. Any one know how long to hear if m and s current account approved? Haven't heard from them in two weeks and worried has been declined.

Assuming you applied online, what did the onscreen message at the end of your application say?

Have you had any emails from M&S? NB check your SPAM folder.

If you've not heard anything at all, it may be that your application didn't complete. Why not phone them? Its a freephone number 0800 756 7777

opened mine feb, got first £10 added to card 17th april.
