Guilty as charged, isasmurf.
I have bumped threads but always give an explanation. For a technophobe like me, who hasn't a scooby how to provide a link:o ........bumping is the only option.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. I have found 2 opposing views on this.
Some forums insist you thoroughly search for a thread of a similar subject, and add your comment/question to that before daring to post a new one (it never happens) and others go mental if you dig up an old thread and resurrect it.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't :rolleyes:0 -

(Some posters do find it annoying though!) Probably best to explain why you're bumping the thread to avoid any unnecessary hassle.

I agree with jo_b, there was a post somewhere that said if you bump up a post it is best to put why you are bumping it.:)
I'm not sure if it was Martin that said this, know doubt if I can't find the said link someone else will.;)0 -
Anybody can bump a post but only the mods and guides get away with it, ordinary mortals such as you and I will get into trouble for it.spendaholic wrote:Thanks, both.
Does that mean that only the mods and guides can "bump"?

You may even find that some 'bumpers' do it to increase the meaningless post count underneath their username.0

Only if taken to extremes!
