Finding Out Owner of House

This may be stating the obvious - but you have tried putting an official looking letter through the door addressed to the owner haven't you? Even better if you can get the name from the land registry (that's assuming you don't also get a new address).
Although the occupiers don't speak English well they will recognise that the letter is not for them and hopefully pass it on to agency or landlord.0 -
Look for the property on rightmove/google - this might give you a contact for the letting agent.0

Yes, but if you write to him/her at the address given at the Land Registry hen there is a good changce the lettter will get to him, either through oyal mail redirect or because the tenants pass it on, and if not, you've taken reasonable steps to contact him.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -

Exactly. If you need to take action, you will need to demonstrate a paper trail that you attempted to contact the owner first.0 -
Write a letter and ask the tenants to pass it on to the agency.0

Cheers everyone. I paid the £3 and found a name and an address not too far from the property. So I will pass it on to Dad and he can do what he needs to.
I just assumed that the £3 thing just told you the owner of the address, but now I know different.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
