Finding Out Owner of House

The house next door to my dad is rented out (room by room I should imagine) to people who don't speak English.

My dad wants to contact the owner of the house in order to get permission to do something about a tree that is leaning over the garden fence.

We have tried to get the name of the agency dealing with the rentals, but haven't been unsuccessful so far.

Is there any other way to get in contact with them?

Won't necessarily give you a current contact address for them though.

This will tell me the name of the owner, but not where he lives though, right?

If it's just to prune the tree simply do it and make the cuttings available for the owner if they require them

Not sure if this is his only concern. Think it is leaning over, might damage the fence and essentially damage anyone who happens to be there if it falls over.

Fair enough, alternatively write to the address - there could be a mail redirect in place

If the address is the rented property then do a deal with tenants and sell it or Mortgage it as he may not find out & you get rich!

With his name it should be easy to find him with social media or findermonkey.

It will have both a name and address of registered owner in the form:

Registered Owner: (Name) of (address). If the landlord purchased the house for his own residence at some point it maybe less helpful. If there's a charge registered against it then it may yield more results.

Particularly if the title isn't registered.:)

What the Land Registry will have is the identity of the owner, if you want to where they are, because they aren't at the property concerned, and the register gives you no clues, then you try a tracing agent.
