Crooks at EE still charging for broadband, even though I switched

Hello,
Whenever I switched before, I didn't need to call the previous supplier and cancel. I shifted my phone and broadband from EE to Sky, and they are still billing me for "Broadband & Weekend Calls - Monthly Price Plan", despite providing neither.
They have done this for several months. They say that they won't refund it because Sky didn't tell them I was moving.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Are they allowed to do this?

It wasn't an early termination if that is what you mean.
They have agreed to refund it. Apparently money will be back in my account next month. I think part of the problem is that they "forgot" to transfer my number over when doing the account originally.0 -
Just like Energy switches, welcome to the free market.0

Just phoned EE today and yup mine hasn't been cancelled. But lucky it's only been a month. Not going to waste my breath trying to get a refund.
Annoyingly if EE could of matched the deal I've got with TalkTalk I would have stayed. Already been problematic from day 1.0
