    Hello LS
Was thinking of you today, not in a pervy way, you will be pleased to know:rotfl::rotfl:
Just thought hadnt seen you since you posted you was back, are you ok?

I'm good thank you, glad you weren't thinking of me in a pervy way, that would be weird!! :D:rotfl::rotfl:

How are you, and your sis? I've posted a couple of times since I've been back, nothing much though. First day back at work today. It was flipping warm in the office, in typical police station fashion the heating is still on full whack!:rotfl:

Not very MSE today as I am heading to London to have Laser eye surgery!

I'm really excited but getting a tad nervous too. Has anyone has it done recently?

    How the operation gone?

Now that your operation is done, I can tell you my scare stories.

DS1 asked for laser eye surgery for his 21st. On the day I was at work, and rang him after his appointment, he said that they were having problems and he was still waiting. He rang me a few hours later, I was in a meeting but took the call. He said that that they had got half way through one eye and had a power cut, that they had never had this problem, they did not know what to do and he was in pain. I was in a meeting when I got the call. As my panic kicked in....... he told me he was joking! He states that having this surgery was the best thing he ever did.

OH had his done for his 50th, as he was older they had to do a different process and all went well. He went for a check up, and was asked to come back a few days later, this was repeated a few times. OH starts to complain of having constantly dry eyes, and was loosing some vision. One Thursday he was then asked to go to a major city for a check up on Friday pm, he was told that there was something in his eye and he had to return on the Saturday morning to operate (they opened the surgery specially for him). There was metal in his eye that had gone rusty, they had to remove the metal and the rust. Sorry for the horror story! x

    result in my waitrose.
so many peeps were getting coffees without scanning a card, they have now started giving cups out at the tills, so you have to get your card scanned. its a result for me as this makes the till operator "charge" me for the drink, thus making it easier to get my free paper.

I must visit a Waities in a rough area... they guard the cups like they are gold!!

Your right it was a lovely day but some Muppet forgot the sunblock and suffers from sun allergy and is now a red rashy thing.

My local, well not that local but the one we use has always done that from when you couldn't just go in an order a free coffee at the caf!, but the one we popped into in London they didn't have a caf! but wouldn't give you a cup unless you bought something, so they had a basket of bananas on the counter 25p each:eek: , but still cheap if you're gasping for a coffee:D

Ah you both need to come to the chilled North and be introduced to booths which works the same as Waities :D No coffee q's, cups given with a smile and Ellie14 chatting up a man at the coffee machine  :rotfl::rotfl:
We sat in the cafe for ages nursing our coffees and no one batted an eyelid.

BQ my chugging car is in the garage :o I cannot believe that happened with a guest in the car :rotfl::rotfl: :o something about plugs and coil packs is wrong. It's being traded in so we should have a much more stylish ride on our next road trip :T

    they do a great job

I got some last month and I absolutely adore them :happyhear I get a lot of pleasure out of watching them and they have me running mad around with the hose to keep them in water. I have an old stone butler sink that I've adapted so they have something to dunk in. Aren't they messy though? my chickens aren't impressed at having their drinking water contaminated with mud.

I'm thinking of separating them out and getting more ducks with some proper sort of a pond. Can't do it near the chickens as they're so dim they'd wander into it. I haven't had a duck egg yet though, they're only about 13 weeks old so maybe too early? Looking forward to duck eggs :D

I was just checking on our grand national efforts tonight. I had an email asking if I wanted to close some donations down. The grand national netted a truly whopping £222 in donations to RedRose hospice and ChrisV GD RSPCA donations. Fantastic :T

That is amazing! Thank you everyone who took part X
