Thanks for letting me know. Had not heard this. But sad who ever it is . we have had several people missing locally and you jyst want them to be back with their familys. Everyone has been involved in some way with helping what is good even the boys have been out in searches .[/QUOTE]
I read it earlier today, it said they were still searching for him and they were also searching for a missing women named Avril. Hope they are both found safe & well. Very sad for the family of the deceased gentleman.0 -
result in my waitrose.
so many peeps were getting coffees without scanning a card, they have now started giving cups out at the tills, so you have to get your card scanned. its a result for me as this makes the till operator "charge" me for the drink, thus making it easier to get my free paper.0 -

Evening all
Good evening QOC how are you and hope the job is going well and that your girls are enjoying the sunshine0 -
Reply saved in draft at the moment. Why are they selling bed linen you can not wash?
Very naughty!
Oh I'll waste xxx amount of ££££s on bed linen that will look decorative in my airing cupboard. Unless I use it, wash it & it will turn into badly run white rags, mmmm
Is it a Trading Standards issue?
I think that goes along the lines of selling something not fit for purpose Snap...
Here is a snippet of what the below act is about...I think this will give you something to throw at them apart from the pillow case..:rotfl::rotfl: Sorry if this has already been mentioned as I am just catching up:)
The Consumer Rights Act 2015
As with the Sale of Goods Act, under the Consumer Rights Act all products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
The rules also include digital content in this definition. So all products - whether physical or digital - must meet the following standards:
Satisfactory quality Goods shouldn't be faulty or damaged when you receive them. You should ask what a reasonable person would consider satisfactory for the goods in question? For example, bargain bucket products won’t be held to as high standards as luxury goods.
Fit for purpose The goods should be fit for the purpose they are supplied for, as well as any specific purpose you made known to the retailer before you agreed to buy the goods.
As described The goods supplied must match any description given to you at the time of purchase.[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Avril has been missing for a while now. Just a normal lady . It seems odd that people can just totally disapear, without any clue.0 -
