We were planning on going to blizzard beach cos apparently it's more suitable for the littlies. Lazy river was the first to do on that day so I'm pretty naffed off that he's changed his mind

:T:T:T Blizzard Beach is the best Disney water park. Loved the rapids, the tubes, the float around the edge & the cable chair lift to get to the 'summit'

Sending you a hug snap. :A

nanny, how is your sister now?

Chelseafred, your trip sounds great. I have progressed on from the Disney Parks to Disney Cruise Line - absolutely amazing! We are going on our 5th Disney cruise in less than 4 weeks and I just can't wait. :D

Am I the only one who has not taken my family to Disney? I feel like I have deprived them :o. We have mentioned it in passing but never got round to looking into the details.

What is the best (cheapest :D) way of buying a holiday to Disney Florida please? I expect you are really looking at 2 weeks to get the full benefit from Disney and the other parks, as it would be a shame going all that way and not goig to Universal too?

    Many thanks

    I waited until I was 63!
Took our own kids to Disneyland, Paris but although it was good it's not a patch on the Orlando setup. Was great to go with two of the Grandkids at last.
As we had paid for the 14 days Entry to the Parks etc we didn't go to Universal etc this time, more than enough with Disney, combined with a couple of 'chilling by the pool' days ( you need it after all the walking etc )
We are already planning next years trip, a week in that area doing Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens etc followed by a Southern Caribbean Cruise if all goes well.
We flew to Tampa this year, a bit cheaper, slightly further to travel to Disney but a much smaller airport than Orlando. We found Orlando took a long time to clear and check-in the last two years.
Go for it, you wont regret it!
We preferred to stay on the Disney Resort so we didn't need the hassle of hiring a car and driving everywhere, all transport is easily available but many peeps stay further out, off the Disney site which is cheaper. All personal choice but I like to forget about driving when on holiday.
