    Loving the boxes ;)

Rant on: Bought my niece a Mac make-up session through Institute of Professional Photography & Makeup so she has gone through to the venue and apparently they have not even booked the room that it was meant to be on at in Tigertiger. Not a happy uncle.

That is really unprofessional DM, what a disappointment for your niece and you.

If DD lived closer I would send her over to do some makeup, she has a lot of MAC in her kit, along with Charlotte Tilbury and another expensive make I can't remember, the prices make you  just for a bit of slap. :o She does have a very nice camera she saved up for but not an expert with it yet...

    Coca-Cola Vanilla

Both OOS from a couple of days ago.. 2 for £2 but should see £1.84 each and match morries or tesco 2 for £2 so really cheap.

Diet Coke Citrus Zest Cans 8pack! £2 for £5 but OOS so should see £6.94 v £5 at morrisons. Maybe Diet Coke Cherry Cans & Coca-Cola Vanilla Cans

    Bless ya!
She can do it really well, it was just a treat for her really. So I would suggest (at the moment) people avoid the Institute of Professional Photography & Makeup. I will of course update.

Looks like everyone is having a quiet afternoon :).

If anyone spots any toilet paper glitches please can you let us know? Now down to our last few rolls from buying during the Amex Shop Small offer - I know I can get Nicky in Home Bargains but hoping for an even better deal.

    Thanks

    Hi folks
Long time lurker here and looking for some advice. A couple of threads ago there had been talk about vip lounges at airports. I hadnt paid a huge amount of attention as didnt think I would need it but here I am a wee while later and it could be of use. Does anyone remember who the op was of can link to the chat. Many thanks

I mentioned it to start with, but lots of us have discussed it. Basically it the "free if" guarantee with Holiday Extras - if you book through them and find the identical product cheaper elsewhere within 24 hours then you let them know, and providing they agree they will refund ALL of your money a few days after your lounge visit. Can take a while of searching, and not always cheaper anywhere else, but definitely worth it if you can find it.

Thanks silvercar, she is already using the bio oil something she didn't do last time. And under strict instructions to use high factor sun cream or keep it covered if she has to go out in the sun.

It's nearly 12 weeks now since the op to have the plate and screws out and the scar reduction. Such a shame as it looked so neat and pale when dressing was taken off think it was about 2 weeks after. But guess the body is doing it's stuff and she will have to see how it is doing in time.

These things can take time TS. I had a cyst removed from my neck in 2013. Surgeon told me it would take at least 18 months for the scar to fade, and he was completely right. I had a big scar across my neck, and it is now finally barely visible, but I'd say it probably took 2 years to get to that point. Its really hard to be patient with these things, but definitely keep using the bio oil and make sure it is covered well in sun cream, as I was also warned about the scar being in the sun making it worse.
