Hi folks
Long time lurker here and looking for some advice. A couple of threads ago there had been talk about vip lounges at airports. I hadnt paid a huge amount of attention as didnt think I would need it but here I am a wee while later and it could be of use. Does anyone remember who the op was of can link to the chat. Many thanksFirst ever SW challenge 2015: 0/70Watch this space!0 -
I heard that A's Chicken Korma with Pilau Rice (450g) was comparing unfavourably against M a week ago. However, M's price had changed to £1.50 by Monday so it should now be comparing £1.50 vs £1.50 for 10% cheaper. I think the 'Pilau Rice' vs Rice or whatever M's product has isn't material. I now think that, in fact, it's just the Chow Mein that is a different weight in M - others should compare. However, I am hestitating about A's Chicken Bhuna (450g) at £3 and not putting that onto the list. A's Chicken Bhuna (and not least because it's £3 and therefore is seen as risking losing money in the event it doesn't compare) is in Tomato Sauce whereas M's is in Pilau Rice - clearly different. I therefore am stepping back from putting it onto the list as I think it's non-comparable, unless someone can (truthfully!) tell me that the A product is in fact comparing against M at £1.50. Until such time, I have gone scaredy on it and I'm procrastinating and hesitating again about whether it should or shouldn't compare... it won't be going onto the list unless anyone knows that it is comparing.
It is *not* every 450g meal in A that is comparable against M at £1.50. There is a non-comparable 400g Chicken Jalfrezi in M at £1.50; however the 450g one (from which A's 450g might compare) is not £1.50 in M but is higher priced and 3 for £6. So, not all of them except Chow Mein! As usual, go by only the ones that are put onto my list - once I've updated that soon, if there are then any that are omitted, they are omitted for a reason and the ones that are omitted should probably not be bought on an Avs M comp. As ever with these things, you have to follow them precisely and if you stray off the list on these, you are going into dangerous territory, maybe.0 -
