This looks bleak even on a nice day - I can imagine it would be very blowy up there.
It wasnt that bad or we would have just not bothered(walking), it was a nice drive anyhow.

That does look fab. I've been thinking apartments too. Will have to get more details from the others but Thankyou very much for your advise on the trains aswell. I honestly would not know where to start with them xx

I have insider knowledge on the subject of trains :D

on booking a work mates get away - make sure you set a suitable budget, include everything and extract money from people up front before anything is booked - don't rely on promises :D

Also sign up to Deal zippy Liverpool for good offers for dinners, lunches and evening meals etc.

Greggs breakfasts of course :D and an Eds easy diner if you have the registration or birthday freebies.

loads of shopping to be done and museums

Same place as last time at 12.45? I'll be in the same car. It's either that or OH fish wagon _pale_ I'm intrigued at the ear bending.
I don't know where my Booths card is. It's currently lost and I picked up a new temporary one in case I couldn't find it. Of course I didn't find it and the temporary one is languishing waiting to be registered :o so I may be paying for my coffee if a final search doesn't turn the old one up.

Sunflower Di said you'd like to come and meet up too. I know it's a bit of a trek for you but you'd be most welcome if you did want to come.

Evening all hope the elite are well.
Sad news here a serious crash between 2 ambulances has left one driver dead and 3 people seriously injured. hoping that they are ok. its between mine and dd houses , and the road has been closrd all afternoon. at the moment we can't get to the horses. As they are right near the accident. Was worried as ds3 could not get home as buses could not get through but he got a lift to dd house so we will collect him when road reopens.

Hi Anon...I have had similar problems before..I don't think there is much you can do about it...It seems that the buyers rights kicks in...

I would like to know the outcome whatever happens...Good luck..:(

They had raised the refund request using the 3bay system rather than messaging. Logging in it gives 4 options - agree return (you will refund postage and all costs once received), refund (no return of item!), partial refund, or message the buyer.

I went for partial refund and made an offer of 15% off and they have accepted :). Not bad, considering if I had to refund them all of the amount, plus postage and pay return postage too, the amount of the partial refund was only slightly more than the original postage costs .

Lessons learnt - photograph everything (including packaging), double check item to make sure that it definitely hasn't been opened (it hadn't by me, but how do you know if it has been opened instore?) and triple check that returns accepted is switched off ;).

    Anon
