I certainly was last night as kept pd company watching Game of Thrones at 2 am.
Can't wait for the new Ab fab movie to be released. Really my era comedy. Saw a Rylan post on fb as he has the part of a member of cabin crew. And to think filming of the series was back when Concorde was still flying.
It was lovely to see N today. So nice to talk to someone other than my mum, who has been an absolute godsend. Lucky I moved just up road to her.
I don't tend to log in til around 8pm but being incapacitated I am usually here by mid afternoon at the moment. Had wanted to get lots of comping done but my lappy needs an mot as not working after a windows 8 update.
Been very good, no shopping online but might peep at Marks sale. Mum wants a couple of new tracksuits for round the house and N needs a navy leather clutch bag. I have lots of vouchers to be used up.
So much happier tonight as got lots of administration work done that my sister couldn't face.
I never miss your posts TM you definitely keep us flowing along especially the meat puns. Didn't you do fish ones once as well. I think on bank holiday weekend we should make one day pun day and see who joins in.
I will be mostly packing crockery tomorrow and arranging a courier. Rhosy could you pm me the address as not sure if I still have it.

Officially her last London marathon. Done 20 over the years.
Nice she was sensible about it. Definitely listens to her body.

and he's getting a bit much for my mum to cope with. The dementia has overtaken the Parkinson's rapidly. He's still in hospital and she enjoyed the weekend away. My friend you met at the charity breakfast is going for the rest of the week so it hasn't been wasted.
Well we had the pleasure of meeting both at your do and I'm very sorry to hear thatthey've been incredible parents to you and it must be hard.
I know you're not a sympathy seeker by any means Di, but how much poop can life throw at a person? I admire you so much. No smileys or jokes, just genuine admiration. You smile, you never complain and you deal with the crappiest hand that life could deal to you.
I'm not a gusher. So just respect to you lady Di for how you deal with your lot in life. That was hard without smileys but I managed

I have one measly teacup to add to the collectionand I encountered the doctors receptionist equivalent of a charity shop worker to get it! :rotfl:
I went in to work today to drop some stuff off and visited a Barnardos donation centre. Great place and very cheap! They had a big plastic bin full of mugs and cups. Mostly cheap nasty mugs but I found one vintage tea cup :j:j I took it to the counter and she said (without a smile) 'it's 4 for 49p' I said there wasn't anything else I wanted but I'd be happy to pay the 49p for that one. Was she having it?......no! She said again in the same robotic voice 'it's 4 for 49p' She kept pricing clothes up whilst she said it and wouldn't take my money:rotfl:So I got my vintage teacup, a promotional oxo mug, a mug that says 'gardeners know all the dirt' and a mug with papa smurf on it
:rotfl::rotfl: At least I found something
I would have bought 4 then immediately donated back the 3 I didn't want:rotfl:

I'm not sure DH would agree that I don't moan :rotfl: you have to get on with it as you know yourself. We're still here and that's what matters.
Now it must be late because DD has just come in and she did a double take as if to say she couldn't believe I was awake. At this rate I'm still going to be awake for my 2am stint:rotfl:

what's it coming to when charity shops have jobsworths?I can't help feeling they are volunteering and I felt obliged. OH said tonight 'shall I put these in the dishwasher' I said no put them in the shed. :mad:they're now at home with the Liebfraumilch I can't re-home

I hope your foot is improving. Glad you had a visit from the bandage Angel. I'm sure your stitches look a lot worse than they really are and once you heal and get them out it won't be so shocking. if you see an improvement it will be worth it. Gladiator type sandals can hide a multitude of sins and thankfully they're still fashionable0 -

I'm flagging too. Being me, I've spent all night finding out about immunotherapy drugs
Rock and roll! We need to get our thrills where we find them :rotfl: I'm also off to bed. My treatment day has changed from Wednesday to Tuesday after the kidney saga.

Evening All,
Me and my family members bought 5 of the micro packs from M last week (separate receipts with different items and payment methods) and all 5 have been declined by TCB.
I have put a ticket in on my account to see why it was declined.
Beginning to get a bit peed off with TCB after the £50 cash back from N3tB3t was also declined despite following their T&Cs.
I agree. It is annoying when that happens - I have had a number of the TCB CoS items also decline for no apparent reason. I appeal any decision as I know I have followed the T&Cs (unless they now mean one item once across all the CoS network - but then items would have been declined on 2/3 apps?).
Also worth appealing the other decline - nothing to lose apart from a few minutes. Just don't encourage or assist signing up other family members for any casino offers from the same computer/IP address - I understand they seem particularly keen on monitoring and block your withdrawal as well as declining Cashback(and ask for a ridiculous amount of documentation to prove ID to withdraw, plus want to speak to the account holder even when they have passed the document check )).

And I think I'm living on the edge
Onwards and upwards anon :kisses3:

On Avs M, I've got the following items as expiring in M (so 'last chance' for now).
Jack Daniels Honey Tennessee & Lemonade (330ml) and Jack Daniels & Cola (330ml) now up in price.
Galla Family Vineyards Spritz are up.
Lucozade 6 packs are off.
Nestle Coffee Mates have gone up.
Billington's Natural Molasses Sugar (500g)
I'm taking all the Princes, Ye Olde Hot Dogs at 25p, Princes Mackerels, Tuna Mayonnaise etc. onto buy in M as felt so unlikely to work on the APG.
Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Sponge Puddings (2x110g).
Glorious Soups! are showing £2 in Wrexham but are believed still to be £1 in M.
There have been quite a few changes on frozen foods:
Believed to have gone up in price in M are
Casserole Mix
Sliced Mushrooms
M Cod Fish Fingers
M Haddock Fish Fingers
Birds Eye Stir Your Senses (all varieties)
Findus Pancakes are off.
I don't know about the chance of them finding the Goodfella's Deep Pan pizzas now - they should be £1 until 1/5 in M; however they seem to have vanished from my Ms.
The Fruit Strudels have gone up in M.
Young's Cod Bravas, Cod Spinach and Cheese Gratin and Seafood Paella are not believed to have increased in M but A has become more than 10% cheaper. However A has gone up:D on the two Gastro Basa Fillets and now stands at nice £3.48 and T/M at £2. With the state of the SELs (and lacks of them) in my Ms however, I would target T (now time to wait for a 2 for £5 instore that doesn't show).
Also several offers on cleaning products and the like have ended:
Domestos Turbos have shot up from £1 to £2.30 in M
Dettol Wipes believed to be up in price
Ironing Waters gone up in price in M
M Pure Fabric Conditioner no longer £1.27 but somewhat higher
Persil Small & Mighty 40 washes are off
Pledge Wood Polish, Glade Shake n Vac Lily of the Valley (500g) and the Vanish 1.4Kg have gone up.
Soreen Snack Slice and Lunchbox Loaves appear to have increased in price. However, there is another that has gone down to 77p (need to see if it is sold by A).
McVities Trio Bars are off.
I'm calling Biscoff off vs M due to T now being cheaper.
I think I'll call the Caribbean Twists off too, even though they are showing £1.93 on m.com. I have had full price showing, not just on the Mango version as last week but also on the Strawberry version instore now. So, I don't know.
The own label Aqueous Cream also appears to have gone up.
However, to my surprise, the Jacob's Mini Cheddars (7 pack) might still be okay as they were showing offer price instore and are on for a further day in M. Whilst I haven't seen the price collection stores, I haven't seen any Ms showing full price on Monday (sometimes they seem to put shelf labels up in price the day before an offer ends - the Penguins were an example several months ago - were on 67p and continued until Tuesday - however some stores on Monday months ago were showing straight £1.41 or some other figure like that and APG got that:(). The Jacob's Oddities though - as I've said earlier, I believe they are £1 and 3 for £2 but I wouldn't be surprised if APG now got straight £1.58 price for M. It shouldn't - it should still be okay, but maybe not.
Boland's Lemon Puff (previous Tvs M) is off. I'm calling (frozen) Whitby's Prawns off. The Apple Puffs and Strawberry Puffs are it seems no longer on 'price crunch' but have reverted - presumably to their everyday low price - so they are off too. I've got rid of the Excelsior Jamaican Crackers as I assume they are off too (offer was due to end on 24/4) and I've removed all the Nairn's products (Oatcakes etc.) as they seem to be back at full price in M.
Iceberg Lettuce (wasn't good enough to get to the list) has also gone up to 50p in M, so no good vs M anymore. APG might continue with 44p, but will probably get 50p. Should be vs T at 43p.0
