Ah what a shame. I'm going to the Fylde coast crockery collecting this weekend. We will be in colwyn bay from Friday until Sunday but we can bring them to you, whatever is best for you. Are you on Anglesey? We love rhosneiger beach that is probably not how you spell it haha.
Let me know when is best for you.

No we are not on Anglesey we are near Pwllheli on the Llyn Peninsular, we could meet in Bangor if thats ok with you. thanks for collecting for us i am so touched , :A:)

I haven't had much luck. I even looked yesterday in Kirkby lonsdale but no luck.

Knew you wouldnt find any there, i had already looked :) x
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Hope you had a nice break at the weekend. Don't write the weather off, it has a habit of being a bit changeable at the moment.
I have one measly teacup to add to the collection :o and I encountered the doctors receptionist equivalent of a charity shop worker to get it! :rotfl:
I went in to work today to drop some stuff off and visited a Barnardos donation centre. Great place and very cheap! They had a big plastic bin full of mugs and cups. Mostly cheap nasty mugs but I found one vintage tea cup :j:j I took it to the counter and she said (without a smile) 'it's 4 for 49p' I said there wasn't anything else I wanted but I'd be happy to pay the 49p for that one. Was she having it?......no! She said again in the same robotic voice 'it's 4 for 49p' She kept pricing clothes up whilst she said it and wouldn't take my money :o :rotfl:So I got my vintage teacup, a promotional oxo mug, a mug that says 'gardeners know all the dirt' and a mug with papa smurf on it :o :rotfl::rotfl: At least I found something :D

thanks for looking and finding one means so much to me xx but i had to :rotfl::rotfl: at the trouble you had getting it, hope you are keeping as well as can be and the family are ok xx

I don't reckon you'd find many bargains around there anyway. it tends to attract well heeled visitors, which is why you were there of course. It is such a lovely area though. I thought about you travelling home today with the chaos on the M6. I think it mostly affected the northbound traffic though.

We saw a van full off smoke so maybe it was that. We had a good run thankfully.

Not sure if mentioned, Danepak are £1 in M now on offer (the micro packs - £1.70 Cashback on TCB, CS and possibly CoS), the smoked and unsmoked are £1.50 (so 50p after Cashback on TCB).

    Evening All,

Me and my family members bought 5 of the micro packs from Morrisons last week (separate receipts with different items and payment methods) and all 5 have been declined by TCB.

I have put a ticket in on my account to see why it was declined.
Beginning to get a bit peed off with TCB after the £50 cash back from NetBet was also declined despite following their T&Cs.

We did see a lovely set a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl but it had ruby wedding on it so not very suitable.

    ASDA Butcher's Selection Chicken Drumsticks (1.1Kg)£3.50 £2.20

1.5Kg is the 'older' version (although it's actually 1.4Kg in M) and 1.1Kg is the 'newer' version (actually 1Kg in M).

In M now (just the stores I've visited), I have -
a price on the older version:huh: but none on the newer version.

It's two separate stores:idea:. In one they have what now seems to be a really errant SEL that they've not removed from the shelf - it's on the older version but, again, there is no stock around. I am doubting this even exists now, having bought in specially around three weeks ago. I think they've forgotten to remove the label for the older product, even though they've taken it away for the newer product and there is now no evidence of that in this store.

Meanwhile - having lost the 'newer' version last time - there is evidence now - in Wrexham of all places - of its existence. They have a SEL for it there - but it just says "PRICED" and there is no stock. The "price" will be the £2 it was at when it was last there two weeks ago.

I've going to cross both of them off on the list. There's no stock that I can see and I think they are extremely unlikely to compare.

Thanks Rhosy. I'm quietly following the proceedings. My family are great and are growing up far too fast! What happened to us all having kids at home? They all come with girlfriends and boyfriends these days :o so the house is no quieter but still no one ever seems to be at home :rotfl:

I've had some cautiously promising news. I've been invited onto the first stages of a clinical trial for some new drugs. innovative drugs. I've got lots of tests to get through first and they involve a lot of travel which is fine. But it's hope and nothing ever got invented without Guinea pigs :D
