Hello fairclaire, he said, pronounce more like furclur :rotfl: He waited patiently outside with Bobby whilst my mum and I went looking. He doesn't really 'do' shopping but definitely not charity shop shopping. He's a very patient waiter outsider though :rotfl:

A bit like my husband did when we came down to Lytham last week !!! :rotfl:
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D

I think that's why he wanted to get another dog so that he couldn't come in the shops haha.

Thanks Rhosy. I'm quietly following the proceedings. My family are great and are growing up far too fast! What happened to us all having kids at home? They all come with girlfriends and boyfriends these days :o so the house is no quieter but still no one ever seems to be at home :rotfl:

I've had some cautiously promising news. I've been invited onto the first stages of a clinical trial for some new drugs. innovative drugs. I've got lots of tests to get through first and they involve a lot of travel which is fine. But it's hope and nothing ever got invented without Guinea pigs :D

Great news about the trial,I mentioned a while back could you maybe get on one : :j if you need transport just shout don,t go alone.Struggled with the pic but will get better .First time for everything .

Great pic Ellie, you have done so well collecting all that stuff. Looking forward to Friday. Did we reach a decision on where we are meeting or are we waiting to see what the weather is like nearer the time?

He's not really :( and he's getting a bit much for my mum to cope with. The dementia has overtaken the Parkinson's rapidly. He's still in hospital and she enjoyed the weekend away. My friend you met at the charity breakfast is going for the rest of the week so it hasn't been wasted.
