 Yes, I know, I should be doing something else. I perhaps should be employed by these places to go and change their SELs, as I'd probably do a much better job than them, alas, maybe, I am not. However, whether people make use of me or not, perhaps doesn't really matter that much and I do what I do. I'm fine at the moment - I think I shan't be going to M the rest of this week now as I need to sort other things and have a little leisurely rest until Monday. Nice for some:rotfl:. It can be the occasional frustration, when I end up throwing my hands into the air at my third store, still not sure what the price of something is (what am I to do?!?), or, usually, yet again the same items every time being carried over from the first store to the next because, every time, the same ones have full price when they are really on offer, and it's the same time after time - as it's not been changed in that one store (which I use as my primary store). That was partly why I switched to another store as the first one, just to get some variation. Monday was a long day sorting stuff out. However, it was not stressful and it wasn't difficult - it was just the time it took, along with the changes that had happened (some of which I did not trust but had to check they had really changed). It doesn't matter - it gets me out, to different places, and I guess I enjoy trying to sort it all out. It's an interest. I have other things too in my life. I can only throw my hands up in occasional frustration but, mostly, the sorting of it out and trying to get it as accurate as possible (whilst still making what seems to be an error that I then pick up) isn't difficult and usually I manage to sort things out. I think:rotfl:.

A question pretty please. I am looking for dinner suggestions for Sunday night in Windermere which won't bankrupt us - who has been to Windermere recently and has any ideas?
Yes I know its mad, start of the tourist season, heaving with people ...

I've looked at the tripadvisor budget suggestions and there seems to be a nice looking Italian but I don't think it has a website. Otherwise it might be a case of walking about and examine menu boards and looking for somewhere less busy.

We are staying near Windermere on Sunday and then on Monday we are going to the Lakeside distillery, about an hour or so further north and then staying at the nearby Best Western close by so it's going to be even more difficult to find a cheap place for Monday night dinner - both hotels have over priced dinners so we won't be eating in.

And not a chain resturant anywhere close by ...

I was there today :) If you like Chinese food, I would highly recommend here https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186330-d1434839-Reviews-The_Golden_Mountain_Chinese_Restaurant-Windermere_Lake_District_Cumbria_England.html

But ring to get a table :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

After my 'tarts bath' I was hungry. Hadn't attempted to go downstairs today and never thought to ask mum to bring me up a sandwich for later.
Anyway I did the bum shuffle to get down the stairs and am now suspicious I might have carpet burns:eek: still wasn't easy as kept banging calf on stair just when some of the stitches are.
Planning to spend daytime downstairs tomorrow but just slept today.
AJ sorry you had a bad experience. I luckily know my specialist operated as not only did he visit me before and after but he was in operating theatre before I had been put to sleep.
It is horrible being at home alone while so incapacitated. !!!!!! it I can't possibly manage stairs again today.
I like being alone most of the time and didn't want to impose on mums time as she has step dad to look after, but it was nice before she went home last night. Just knowing someone was in the house.

So now we have a 'Tarts bath' and carpet burns.:rotfl::rotfl:

I had moved (whether or not I should have done!) one of the mbuy signs at Wrexham to be in front of the own brand salsa dips (there were plenty already on the rest of the shelf so that that would still be clear with one moved away). I thought I had done wrong on that today as I saw straight full price 88p in my first (other) store and kept seeing straight full price in a further store, so thought they weren't on mbuy after all. However, I took two to the till and obviously they scanned at 2 for £1.50! So, they are still on mbuy (as of Wednesday) and as expected - which indeed I am sure is still showing online as being valid for several weeks (I have not checked again!) - but I have three stores today not showing the mbuy (I have not been back to Wrexham) and a fourth store is showing it but it's on another shelf (and right at the bottom of the shelf and not on a level as high as the salsa dips at all) and, although it also includes a mention referring to the salsa dips, it is not obvious, when looking at the salsa dips area of the shelf, that there is an mbuy applicable to the salsa dips.

I think we had at least one of them return N/A on the APG several months ago - that may be because it was not seen as comparable by the price collectors (A's Mild vs M's Cool) - however msm.co.uk (irrelevantly, though it used to be used for non-M prices before) does see the two products as equivalent. I think, even if the Hot version gets picked up as comparable, the mbuys seem to be showing in not many stores or else not clearly and absolutely obviously in front of the dips, that the mbuy might not be picked up on the APG. I have done what I could at Wrexham (whether or not that matters as it may not even be a collection store, even though A has mentioned it in its advertising before). Hopefully it will also help people who actually shop in M there to see that they could be getting a mbuy on the dips. (Unless you looked around, and thought about the individual price, I suspect the point would not occur to you at all.) However, and this happens in some other stores as well, the label has a weight range ending at 200g rather than 300g which is the salsa dips weight. The salsa dips are on this mbuy in M. If they don't give 10% cheaper than M's mbuy, it would be cheaper to buy one outright in Aldi. For the price to be cheaper per unit than Aldi rests on a 10% cheaper than M's mbuy. Just so you know, there may be a problem with the collectors getting the mbuy. However, other Ms, that I have not seen, might be more clear.

It will be 'interesting' if someone ever buys two on a womble and gets a comparison but we see whether they are picking up the mbuy or failing or not.

Car bodge filler is flexible, or if it is a small hole, you can get a rubber compound or perhaps a coloured silicone. If it is near the floor, just get a plug socket face plate and attach it to the wall. You will know it isnt a 'live' plug socket, but it will still look like one, and blend in.
Edit: or a small low shelf could hide it. Would really need to see a pic.

I will take a pic next time I'm over there. It's sort of in the middle of the bottom half so even a socket might look a bit odd as too high up. It's not quite gone right through, almost need to suck it out if you know what I mean...

It's a shame that as you open the caravan door you, well I am, are almost level to the damage, it is going to annoy me every time. :o

It is near the bottom bunk so possibly a little light might not look out of place. It's not a huge dent but probably ought to call it a chip really.

:) There are 2 different types of tanks. I also have some of Bubbs' tanks with the long wicks & no coils. These are compatible with my FUSE. I can change tanks when I want to suop flavours.
I use the long wick tanks with my Menthol liquids. They certainly last a lot longer but don't give a 'crackle' when you inhale :o

This is a long wick tank & I purchase these for £1 from the market man :)

What is the wall made of? If something flexible such as aluminium, you can get good car dent pullers from ebay for about £6. If ply, they will be no good.

I'm not happy about this item - Morries real price is £1.87, same price as the 250g version. I have too many stores showing full price £3.17 on this - and although obviously I've seen one at £1.87 in order for me to be aware of the offer - there are too many for me that have full price on this one. I took the "£3.17" SEL product to the till on Wednesday and of course it scanned at £1.87. So, it is still on offer in M. However, I think too many Ms are showing full price, including Wrexham before, so, whether or not that store matters, I think the APG could well pick up an incorrect high price for M and we could see £3.17 return for M for this. Not that anyone would buy at £2 and compare for 10% against T:rotfl:. I will look at my other store on Monday - I suspect I might see £3.17 there. I've only now seen about one or two stores showing £1.87 (in the short period since it went on offer) and probably about 6 at £3.17.

Nonetheless, it could just be most of my stores. I have clear £1 showing on the McVities 500g Chocolate Digestives and the APG returned full price last week.
I have another two stores today not showing any mbuy on the own brand Chocolate Digestives - just showing 60p and not displaying the 2 for £1. Wrexham and now two others, although two further ones today are showing it properly.

On the frozen own brand 4 pack pies that I keep mentioning, I think this is dodgy given that about half of Ms seem to be showing the mbuy (assuming they are still on mbuy as I think they are) and about half of them not. I had, out of 3, 2 against 1 on Monday (two without mbuy, one with - but I still believe they really are on mbuy). Today, in four completely different stores to all of Monday's, I had two showing the mbuy properly:T but another two showing straight full price:(.

I did not actually check whether they are on mbuy or not. In fact, from the half and half split of the Ms now, I must admit I don't fully know. I was even going to buy:eek: some but then decided we did not have enough freezer space - and I was out at a store a little farther away from home and was stopping at a restaurant on the way back (near there) anyway, that I didn't buy any in the event. I suspect the mbuy has been on these pies constantly for several months - and that they've never come off it. The problem started happening about a couple of months ago, when one store lost its mbuy for me, and then a further one did - and now I'm seeing several with missing mbuys although some have put mbuys back on. When last checked a week ago, in a store that was not displaying the mbuy, surprise, surprise they were 2 for £3! I reckon they are still that now. The fact that two stores are displaying mbuys, although I cannot be sure they have not left them up in error, suggests they are. Really it is not a satisfactory situation that I should not know what the pricing is on items that I may wish to buy.

I noted a similar issue on the Chicken Breast Fillets quite some time ago - occasionally the mbuy would be missing in occasional stores I was seeing - eventually to such an extent that I had to take two of the products to the till and check they were still 2 for £3. Sometimes they disappear from shelving even where they were showing before. They scanned at 2 for £3 and as far as I am aware the products have never not been on that mbuy. However, the Chicken Breast Fillets do seem to have the mbuy displayed across stores again nowadays. The Pollock Fillets have occasionally done this and lost mbuys on the display in one store for a couple of weeks before being put back, whilst other stores still showed them. One went OOS and total no trace whilst I was then left with one showing mbuy and one not. I concluded they were still on mbuy - however they are not an issue as they are 'buy in M' so there's no APG comparison to risk whether mbuys are picked up or not. The frozen bacon is occasionally the same - I suspect that is mostly on 3 for £5 mbuy, although I occasionally take it off my list at times when it's been unclear in my stores as to whether it has still been 3 for £5 or has gone briefly to full price - it just becomes too problematic to work it out - and then I put it back again as the mbuys reappear. One of my stores was useless, never showing it for months - even though the other consistently did and then the problem arose when that store lost its mbuy (they probably remained on mbuy as the mbuy on the shelf was back soon after) - I couldn't rely on my third store as it didn't have the product and thus no signs. However, it seems to have become a lot better of late and with all stores back in stock and currently displaying the mbuy.

On the pies though, there are just so many not currently displaying it (and it's now been persisting over the last two months) that I would not be surprised, even if the products are picked up on the APG in the first place, and even then at least one of them was an N/A before, if we did not see a full price comparison and the M mbuy be failed to be picked up. It is so haphazard now across my 20+ stores that I think the mbuy (assuming one is on these products as I believe) is unlikely to be picked up: I suspect it's not even showing in about half or more of stores. It's random on a set of stores as to how many are displaying and how many are not. But it could easily tip the wrong way. I've had 2 against 1 - with 2 being no-shows - on Monday and now an even split. However, I promise you this'll be the last time I'll mention it until the different stores become clear and consistent in displaying it once again:rotfl:.

♥ With you FC with the cats that stayed.
All mine were abandoned by others & found they way to our bin shed. I have never chosen any of my cats. But feel honoured that they chose us ♥
Poor Mrs Tibbs is scared of me (female) but loves Fourp. Her previous owner was the Savages Mother. Says it all :(
She walks like a old crocodile - I presume from no nutrition when she was growing up but is only 4 years old.
