I do not think that the Korbond threads (knitting) that I saw in Wrexham on Monday at 86p are 86p. I was told that a random one today is £1. So, it seems that they may have been 86p at some time before (although never changed to 86p in any stores that I have previously seen:(, with me seeing £1 throughout and never at any time being made aware of any 86p price) and have now gone up to £1. Unless there are some different BCs on all of them on the ones in Wrexham or I have been told incorrect information somewhere or some other reason. I believe that they are £1 and will be changing the list accordingly. Possibly crossing them all out until they go back to an 86p of which I am properly informed next time:rotfl:.
I have missed at least one offer some time ago before. I remember I was checking around my stores last year. Then, a month later, I happened to change to another store, that I hadn't used before, and was told, on the shelf, about an offer that had expired two days before:( that I had never seen put on in any of my stores. So, it is certainly possible for me to miss the odd offer completely because none of the stores I've used have ever shown it:(! I was generally sticking to three main stores and none of them showed it - hopefully I will become aware, again at random, about other things - including offers not showing in any of my 'normal' stores - when I happen to be in other stores.
I know I have come back from stores myself and said on here that a certain thing is a certain price or asked whether it was on offer and people have told me, from using msm, that it is on offer, that I seemed clueless about. So, when that happens, it is due to it not showing instore and me, as ever, being clueless because of the incomplete or, in my stores, different or confusing information that, in other people's stores, is quite clear. I'm trying folks!:rotfl:0 -
I didnt tell the whole story as I'm not sso silly (sometimes ),and paid off the credit card a couple of days later with a cheap balance transfer. I sold mine for a profit too but it is worth ten times now .....
Ouch! Dont you hate it when that happens.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Fairclaire...your son has a point, give it a go and if in doubt do nothing, the answer will come, good luck xxx
My sil has a poorly cat who has a broken tail but vets won't remove it and its been over a month.
Ithought it was worse to leave it but there is a much bigger problem with possible nerve damage so they have to wait, but have been advised it might be better to think about the long term as it could b incontinent but at the mo he is not in pain....difficult times for her and also costing a fortune too, xxx
Oh my that's not nice and I hope she gets it sorted out.
I don't mind the money part as long as the cats are ok. My cats might unfortunately be suffering from my own frame of mind latelyI've very much decided that I wouldn't want to be living longer with a lesser quality of life so I'm applying it family wide
if you're knackered you have to go........
I'm joking obviously. But it does make sense0 -

This is one of the ones from the neighbour that moved out and left the cats behind  She's always been quite sprightly and I never thought she was that old.
A couple of weeks back she was being sick a lot. Her preferred site was the greenhouseand she was looking decidedly skinny. Took her to the vet and he reckons shes around 14/15 years old  you honestly would never have guessed until lately. He gave her the usual 'cure all' jabs and sent us home with choices. In true cat style, she returned to normal for about a week and has now started to go downhill again. Not eating, even skinnier and can't seem to stand too long without having to lie down. She's a proper fur cleaner as well and had been neglecting that too
I've always thought of her as a very proud little lady.
My issue with this one is DS2 and her have 'connected' no idea why but when she sees him she rolls and purrs like mad and he likes itI've had the conversation with him but he told me to put her on dry food instead of wet food and she'll be ok. (Google) Just when you thought you had an unfeeling child, he throws you a curve ball.
I've decided if she's the same in the morning to take her back and get her put to sleep before she starts experiencing any misery. I'm sure she's not in pain or suffering now but that will come. it's really weird with drive by cats......and I know mhoc will understand......they don't feel like 'mine' but I feel responsible for them. They eat my food and sleep in the beds I make for them but they don't move in and aren't really that affectionate, just grateful to have a roof and and a full belly. I think they get very snotty if their original owner abandons them and get quite self sufficient emotionally as long as they have food and shelter.

Incredible, alas I fear your talents are wasted
 Yes, I know, I should be doing something else. I perhaps should be employed by these places to go and change their SELs, as I'd probably do a much better job than them, alas, maybe, I am not. However, whether people make use of me or not, perhaps doesn't really matter that much and I do what I do. I'm fine at the moment - I think I shan't be going to M the rest of this week now as I need to sort other things and have a little leisurely rest until Monday. Nice for some:rotfl:. It can be the occasional frustration, when I end up throwing my hands into the air at my third store, still not sure what the price of something is (what am I to do?!?), or, usually, yet again the same items every time being carried over from the first store to the next because, every time, the same ones have full price when they are really on offer, and it's the same time after time - as it's not been changed in that one store (which I use as my primary store). That was partly why I switched to another store as the first one, just to get some variation. Monday was a long day sorting stuff out. However, it was not stressful and it wasn't difficult - it was just the time it took, along with the changes that had happened (some of which I did not trust but had to check they had really changed). It doesn't matter - it gets me out, to different places, and I guess I enjoy trying to sort it all out. It's an interest. I have other things too in my life. I can only throw my hands up in occasional frustration but, mostly, the sorting of it out and trying to get it as accurate as possible (whilst still making what seems to be an error that I then pick up) isn't difficult and usually I manage to sort things out. I think:rotfl:.0 -

Its just a very fine line between ending it too early, and ending it before the pain starts.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Dont skimp on the power, you will always want more
I bought one, kept it 2 years, made about 20% profit on it, very MSE :money: (shame I had not kept it for another 4 years, they are double what I paid now)
Thanks DM, that was my first thought to stick something over it, but it's a bit low for any of those and near the end of the wall. It is the wall with the mirror on anyway, and it's quite a bit below that where ladder fell into wall.
Does seem the easiest thing to do plaster over it but just not sure what with yet.0 -

Car bodge filler is flexible, or if it is a small hole, you can get a rubber compound or perhaps a coloured silicone. If it is near the floor, just get a plug socket face plate and attach it to the wall. You will know it isnt a 'live' plug socket, but it will still look like one, and blend in.
Edit: or a small low shelf could hide it. Would really need to see a pic.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
