When I was in the train station, nobody says hello to you... and when you acknowledge someone they look at you like you are strange..

That's because we're all rude in London. A couple of weeks ago on the tube some lady was coughing up a storm, and me being the rude behemoth that I am, offered her an unopened bottle of water.
