    Back to salmon:rotfl:.

And you people with 50p SELs in your M thought there was a chance on it.
I didn't think there really was any chance to be honest.

I thought they would have got 40p on the Pink Salmon though, as I've seen nothing else and had 40p in numerous stores. It's unlucky that they manage to pick a store like that - that seems to me to be a rare M. Unless they have no stock anywhere (and on Wednesday of all days - not even now, the weekend) and are picking up the previous price that they got - it is a surprise as I'd have thought they would have had several 40ps from stores on Wednesday (all of them for me in stock).

I think that Pink Salmon (that people who want Red don't really want) may stand a good chance (there I go again though - probably putting paid to it:() of an erroneous comparison on TBG. I mean a comparion to 40p M that TBG technically shouldn't do since it should exclude RTC items. However, most Ms (I suspect) are not giving that information on the shelf so if TBG has 40p stores - which I think is likely - they aren't giving that information to the TBG collectors.

I can't believe I fell for it like a muggle ;) - 4 for £2 H3inz soup in A, bought lots only to find the multi did not come off

It wouldn't be so bad but in two other stores earlier they were 95p each and no promo Sel or displays, but this store had it clearly showing in a number of places.

Not to worry, the helpful CS desk refunded me and gave me a £2 card for my trouble.

 Wonders out loud what the APG will show following the refund?

Unfortunate for all the juggles in this store who have been buying at full price today.

Not likely to be anyone around who can answer my question but dm might know when he gets back from pub.
I want to watch something on amazon instant video on my tv. I have used tablet to search for programme I want but can't see how to add to my viewing.
I know I have done this before but can't remember how. The programme shows as in stock.

I suppose we could always be hit by an item that has gone temporarily OOS in the collector's store that they haven't seen stock of for 7 days. That's not a situation that I normally encounter though and, while products do disappear entirely and are then only in my other stores (White Wine Vinegar at the moment), I normally pick them up from another store (even when only using 3).

It could be - probably is - that the Less Salt version of Tomato Soup isn't in any of their collection stores. No stock, no SEL, nothing. They haven't missed it. I thought that was unlikely as I assumed my Ms had virtually everything that M sold and only local products for another area might not be there for example; however this is not the case. I find further items in every new M. I will never pick everything up that M sells.

Or otherwise it could be an issue between the 25% and something (the description used by the APG may not be matched to the item that is in M). On this, I've no idea what range of Heinz Soups M does or doesn't have since the M pricing was not one good enough for me to take. I could have spent ages over the Heinz soups aisle but I had other things to do.

On this one, I notice that m.com comes back with sorry we don't have this product - which suggests that it may have disappeared from quite a few Ms, including all of the price collectors' stores, if they had it as comparable to M in the first place - even though I don't trust that 'we don't have it' message on m.com - I've found M to stock items that come back with that before - and I think they will have Reduced Salt Heinz soup somewhere. It's not going to have completely gone from all Ms! Anyway, the delivery system for online does not have many products that M sells.

Was Less Salt Heinz on RTC and labelled as such in Ms I saw a few months ago?

The reduction items* - the Princes, YOO Hot Dogs, biscuits, you know the ones - are a different situation from the rest of M's stock and they gradually disappear from more and more Ms, I'm sure always or nearly always remaining in at least one or tens of them, making it less and less likely that they will be in a collection store to get picked up. Or they have incorrect SELs on them:mad:.

*and I don't know that Heinz was one of these

Savvy i managed 3 pack tuna, tuna and sweetcorn and pink salmon , this was thursday

Thanks, there's not really been a problem finding these items in M: they've still been in quite a few stores. I doubt that will be the case now though, after a Saturday - I reckon several more Ms will now be OOS of particularly the Pink Salmon. The 3 pack tuna is likely to have gone out of more of them and the Tuna Sweetcorn will be unavailable in those that show the correct 25p SEL I think. And then the SEL is taken away... leaving only incorrect high price SEL stores:mad:. APG then I wonder left with fewer stores, but still with it in one or two out of six and both with incorrect £1 price:(.

I could have got the Tuna Sweetcorn from my local M earlier in the week, which was showing 25p SEL and had a couple of tins left. One version of the 3 pack tuna was still there but with incorrect £1.50 SEL. It had, by then, gone from elsewhere that had had it at £1 SEL and was the only store in which I still had it left at that stage. It was not impossible to find in a 50p SEL store, presumably stores where the SEL had been changed to the correct price more recently. But £1 price last week was enough to sell one or both versions completely out of some stores - by this week there was no trace at all of the products left in those stores. They were not on the shelves and there were no longer any SELs for them left. They had been removed.

I would have thought that, if someone visited three stores around midweek this week, they would have found one or other (maybe both) of the 3 pack Tuna in one of the three and the Tuna Sweetcorn in one of two of them (in some stores with unchanged £1 SEL). The Princes Pink Salmon would have been found in most probably 2 if not all 3 of their stores. So, I think they would not have been that rare, although the chances of finding them now are less. Albeit that some people will have no problem at all finding them in their M, especially if it happens to be an incorrect SEL store.

Sorry to mention the same stores time after time - it probably gives an indication that these products are becoming to be in fewer and fewer of the stores that I have happened to visit.

Winsford store still had some Tuna Sweetcorn the other week, marked with £1 SEL. I do not know if the SEL would have been changed by now and whether the product has now gone from there as a result. There was also some Tuna Sweetcorn, again with incorrect £1, in Harrogate on Friday evening. They were in the normal canned aisles in both cases.

Sorry to mention the same stores time after time - it probably gives an indication that these products are becoming to be in fewer and fewer of the stores that I have happened to visit.
