Rhosy,
What about thinking of doing a sweet shop.
Some large glass/plastic containers/bowls, filled with sweets, jelly (maybe the 10p ones that most of us have tones of)... Easy cheapish feature.
You could also put tea lights in cups (if you had enough) for a table feature.
Also a book for guesses to sign, leave memories (cost about £10).100 -
Right I do need to go to bed... planning a wedding meal (in my head!!)100

Give over... it is easy
Normal bread/french bread to make the sandwiches of
Ham and a bit of mustard.
Cheddar Cheese with Chutney (cheese graded the day before)
Cucumber with Cream Cheese,
Chicken Breast with Mayo (filling prep the day before)
Egg Mayonnaise and Watercress (filling prep. the day before)
SCONES, CAKES AND PASTRIES (make the day before)
Cornish Clotted Cream and Strawberry Preserve.
On the morning, make the sandwiches, then put out the sweet, and last minute plate the sandwiches... one on each table. Pot of tea. Bottle of bubbly...
ooh I am getting excited, wished you lived closer as I would be coming!!
thanks , you made it sound so simple , i can actually picture it all in my mind xx :jpurpledonkey wrote: »If you don't mind me asking, when is the wedding?

I have been looking at some youtube stuff and will keep perservering. PD I did quote your pic but its now gone, but your crochet is lovely. I really really want to be able to crochet some kind of blanket like that.
Hi VT. Think it was you who sent me the sopost thing, I got my benefit eyecream the other day and really like it, in fact so much that even after a few days I'm considering buying one (although I expect its stupid expensive so maybe not!).
In reply to the go walks, I just chuck them in the washing machine on a 40 degree wash and they're absolutely fine.
Snap, glad your Dad seems to getting on well with the physio.
Rhos, sorry to hear about the latest saga with the wedding caterers. Glad it is being investigated.
TM, I did catch your comment from a couple of days ago, but have literally been catching up! The swimming hasn't really helped the weight loss as I've only been going once a week. I've been low carbing since the New Year. Few periods off here and there, but going really well. Another lb gone today, so up to 3 stone 9lbs lost. :T
Its taken til now for me to catch up from Sunday night, as was really busy yesterday. I reckon all you lot with your electric puns jinxed me, as my boiler broke.Realised all the sockets in the house weren't working, kept tripping when I reset it, and identified it to the boiler. Engineer coming out this afternoon, so glad I have a home cover scheme.
BQ I'm glad your op went ok, hope your recovery goes smoothly.
wendyak, how kind of your husband donating all that iron rich blood! Glad he feels better for it, even if it in his head! :rotfl:
bubbs, STILL no pepsi max in local waitrose, went again this morning.
Sorry if I've missed anyone, not intentional at all.

I got the serum as have far too many eye cream samples and don't use it.
My skin suffers due to medication, hence my slight addiction to an elmis tri enzyme facial. Think the serum could be good on really bad days. I have used up my face oil samples so bought my favourite (with £15 off of course). This month my youbeauty box includes a 50ml face oil so think I have enough for a year. I do use cheap face cream to compensate.
Not sure where abouts you are but my sister goes to a 'stitch and !!!!!' where they are more than happy to welcome learners.
Handbag tidy and all gift cards in the zip part ready for expedition tomorrow. Really looking forward to a grown up shopping trip but I am sure my feet will be moaning tomorrow evening. Very important mission and might get to visit Home Sense afterwards:j
Didn't manage a nsd today as bought a posh wall hung toilet brush holder in early hours. I saw one on holiday and took a photo. Someone one on here didn't believe me so I sent it to them. Hopefully purchased one will be perfect then I can order one for downstairs too.
