My husband and I are going to Anglesey next Tuesday for a couple of days, so if anyone in my area has any crockery, I can personally deliver it. I am in Kent, happy to travel to Bluewater as a meeting point to collect items from anyone.....but would have to be done asap, as we go to Anglesey next Tuesday.
If this is any help to anyone, please let me know. I am going to put out a plea on my local streetlife forum, so fingers crossed.

Would love to drive them to you Rhos and meet up but think I am just a bit too far away. :rotfl:

Oooh train Snap :T wonder if there are any cheap tickets....

thanks a lot :A we are a bit far from everyone i have 2 teapots and 4 cups, saucers and plates so far, :o:o its a start xx
:rotfl: If you saw the state of my kitchen earlier, you'd change your mind!

Thinking about it afternoon tea is essentially a bunch of savoury and sweet petite fours. Rhos, out of curiosity what kind of items were on the list originally? I'm thinking of things that can be made ahead of time like macaroons, sweet and savoury tarts, scones etc.

i am getting her to bring her list tomorrow when she pops down, i am thinking
sandwiches, mini salmon/ham tarts, mini welsh lamb pasties, little salad more for decoration.
scones, with cream and jam, mini cake selection, maybe strawberry tarts, she also wanted me to do bara brith and welsh cakes.
like the idea of macaroons as well. xx

    Give over... it is easy

Normal bread/french bread to make the sandwiches of

Ham and a bit of mustard.

Cheddar Cheese with Chutney (cheese graded the day before)

    Cucumber with Cream Cheese,

Chicken Breast with Mayo (filling prep the day before)

Egg Mayonnaise and Watercress (filling prep. the day before)

SCONES, CAKES AND PASTRIES (make the day before)
Cornish Clotted Cream and Strawberry Preserve.

On the morning, make the sandwiches, then put out the sweet, and last minute plate the sandwiches... one on each table. Pot of tea. Bottle of bubbly...

ooh I am getting excited, wished you lived closer as I would be coming!!

John Frieda Beach Blonde Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner (250ml)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £5.99 any 3 for £10.00
    £2.40 / £1.33 / 100ml
    Store_8.15px.png
    £1.47

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Look, I've picked it up from two out of four stores, so it must stand a chance if they use six. Do we have a trigger? Maybe this, a JF Blow Out Spray 100ml (nice £6 for A but now not-so-nice £2 for M) and an invisible trigger. However, the Blow Out Spray, whilst it might have been picked up before, may now no longer do so - it doesn't seem to be in many Ms now - although maybe I have happened to pick recent stores that don't stock it whilst I went to a few stores before that did.

Be aware as the Conditioner has only just gone down in price in M - as it has gone down quite a lot, it may take another price collection for the price to be picked up correctly, whilst they delay checking to see if the price is correct because it has gone down a lot. Sadly, on this one, it may be N/A next time as that price might sell it out of M quickly and may not be there for the price collectors tomorrow. I doubt it will disappear that quickly though - but you never know.

In fact this was already on the list:eek:. It was £3.72 before and near the end of a short section of JFs but I am now promoting it up the list.
