she has about 100 guests and is in to vintage look , and likes mismatch so is not that fussy, just cups and saucers, plates, teapots and little milk jugs, the sort you have for afternoon tea, she is quite old fashioned that's why she wanted an afternoon tea.

i am determined she will not cancel even if they do not get the money back, she had a hard time after losing the baby and i really want her to have a special day . she helped so much with her sisters wedding she is a lovely girl and will do any thing for anyone :)

:):):) Cariad - I will scour the Charity shops here & gather up as many as I can. Then I can bring them up on the train & meet you :D

What an unbelievable statistic I heard today....that there are up to 40 million fake £1 coins in circulation......about 1 in 30 are duds.....

I heard that ages ago, they are usually the ones that car park machines chuck back at you.

Another possible GC - Caribbean Twist Strawberry Daiquiri (70cl) has gone up from £2 (or maybe it was 2 for £4:think:) to £2.50. Vs M at £1.93, or failing that vs T/S at £2.

If it was 2 for £4, maybe the Mango version will cause a visible trigger glitch as it is showing £2.50 OOS on msm - so one of each, and hopefully both £2.50 vs £1.93 M.

You could go for the day of and be head chef, Wales is lovely you'd love it ;)

That is a LOT of work for one person, but I'm mad enough to entertain the thought :)

I do love Wales, not many places I haven't been there *coughs 'and Tescos'*

    What a great idea.

I have attended some afternoon tea weddings, most of the food can be prepared the day before, and then just some sandwiches and setting out.

Totally different tact.... have you got a Women's Institute near you... they maybe able to help out (the one near us is fab, and have done lots of things with a request for donation to their charity).

Poole has loads of charity shops I don't mind looking if someone could put a pic up of the sort of thing I should look for. :o

And funnily enough I have loads of bubble wrap to send some off in. :D

Would love to drive them to you Rhos and meet up but think I am just a bit too far away. :rotfl:
