I think when that hamper company went out of business some people got refunds through paypal. Can't remember the name of it perhaps someone else might...there may be some useful info.

It worked for me on an android phone today. I didn't have any problems getting it to work, not that that helps much though :o

Think I got it work. It's probably just me. Not really IT savvy. Thanks

Only other clause I can see is claim must be made within 180 days of payment.

Not knowing full details it is hard to advise. If caterers didn't have a business account then I believe they have violated paypal terms and conditions so your dd would not be covered.

There is always the small claims court. Sounds like these caterers might be going there a lot.

Keep us informed. More information on invoice or personal paypal account would help.
I presume credit card company might not pay out as they didn't have direct contact with caterers paypal did.

Many ifs and buts. Might be best to get dd to visit a solicitor for a free introductory consultation for further advice.

I know almost for a fact that there are yet more items, that M has anywhere, that I still haven't seen. Despite me suggesting I've found lots of items in M stores that aren't on m.com/msm, which is true, there are also items on m.com/msm which I still haven't seen despite visiting, over time, nearly 80 different stores:rotfl:. However, I now believe that my list is the most comprehensive list of Morrisons prices available online (that is the good prices, from our POV) - or at least it will be once I have updated it again:).

Good evening. If you like your crime dramas/thrillers, Marcella on ITV on Monday 9-10 is good so far (started last week, starring Anna Friel).

Good to have a British crime drama to follow (to add to my many US dramas :)).

Although not much, it appears to me, has changed in M, I have still got several pages of information that I've taken from M again:rotfl:. I have just remembered that the NYC soups have gone up in M, so they are technically last chance for now against M; however that's just going up in order to go back down later - I think it may be simply a switch of comp., to compare against Sains., in future. The minority of own label fresh soups in M that were £1 have also gone up, now joining the higher price of the rest. The Boursin with Herbs and the President Brie have of course gone up as well, with their offer ending. Also, the Cucumber prices - both the whole and portion - have now gone up slightly in M.

I mentioned the RTC Princes Mackerel Fillets earlier. I now only have the Curry Sauce version and just in one M - and it looks to me that's only because it is hidden next to a post in that M and therefore hasn't sold out. This doesn't mean Curry Sauce will work and the others won't. They have vanished, in effect, from a view from four stores selected at random.

Busy day for me went to work at 9.00 am waiting for a call from DD to go to hospital for scan with her. After many calls they decided it will be later in week. So went for lunch intending to return to work after then she calls me to say hospital called to say consultant will do the scan as soon as we get there. so text the boss to say I wont be back this afternoon and went to Bath. Bit chaotic in Ante Natal as nobody seemed to know where she had to go. Anyway she saw a lovely consultant who was actually on Maternity leave who had popped in to pick up some notes and told receptionist she wanted to get Kara seen as soon as.
Scan was fine she just said measurement of bump is low as Kara is small. Baby all fine and I got to see her too. She was swallowing, sucking her fingers and generally dancing around. Dr was wonderful did all the measurements then went back and pointed it all out in detail to us. So relieved.
Off to London for 3 days to help with other new grandaughter!!

So glad that there was nothing to worry about. Enjoy time with the other granddaughter.

Hope BQ got on with her op okay today. I've only read back a page so only seen Rhosys dilemma.

I see you've had lots of advice about PayPal and CC refunds. I'm not sure if the business was registered? I'm not sure in which circumstances they've wound up? If they've gone into liquidation or insolvency (as a legitimate business) then you should be contacted by the practioners that are overseeing it. It happens and it's horrible but often businesses don't set out to fleece people. They just get shut down on by their lending streams. That doesn't help you who's been caught up in it :o

There's lots of ifs and buts depending on their status as a business and how the payment was made.

I hope you can sort it out. X
